This song has special meaning to me...

I've lived nights when I sought shelter from the rain.
And from my thoughts....
The storm was not only the rain that pelted my shoulders as I walked the streets, but
also within my head. Searching for a place....
Either a place to find sanctuary or a place to die.
I found peace and lived.
I know what the struggle is.
I can help others who may be where I was.
That is my goal.
That is my passion.
You probably won't understand unless you've been there....

Psychological studies reveal that individuals whom have contemplated suicide in the past are more likely to act upon those impulses than those whom have never considered the possibility of such an act previously.....

However, my Friends, don't worry about me because I live to save others and, well, I'm having too damn much fun living!

I couldn’t sleep last night. What’s new? I’m trying to teach myself how to use a Sextant. So I decided to learn more about my dog, the miniature Dachshund. Dachshund I learned in German simply means Badger Hound. She was bred to hunt badgers and rabbits and such. But what got me was these two words...... they are Fiercely Loyal...... let that sink in...... Fiercely Loyal..... that’s one reason I love this dog so much........

So , you ain't gonna give your wife " back" the dog ,because the dog made it's choice?
L.o.l.. If I did not know better that would sound odd...

Ladyfriend handed me the old granny dog to put to bed on my birthday sayin "here ya go". I said ,I really don't need another dog but thank you.
I been watching out for her close of late. ( The dog..)Age and fading health and senses. She still gets fired up now and then and gets the other dogs straightened out..As far as she knows.
 

Best joke ever — My friend wanted a boat more than anything. His wife kept refusing, but he bought one anyway.

"I'll tell you what," he told her. "In the spirit of compromise, why don't you name the boat?" Being a good sport, she accepted.

When her husband went to the dock for the maiden voyage, this is the name he saw painted on the side: "For Sale."

This song was just played on my radio station (Medford Oregon thanks interweb...) I can't get it atta my head! I guess I need to buy a Love and Rockets CD, greatest hits maybe as I don't recall any song except this one?

ADDED:
This is the Silver Certificate that I found in a letter years ago when I bought a box of old letters and papers at an Estate Sale.
I had seen several stamps on envelopes that I though I could use and offered the proprietors of the sale $1 for the boxful.
In that box, after I found the Silver Certificate, I also found a document.
Signed by Edwin M. Stanton. Secretary of War.
And Abraham Lincoln!
Granting land to a Civil War Vet.

I also found another document.
Signed by James Monroe!
Also granting land to a Veteran.
Of the War of 1812!

I sold the documents for a high sum to a private collector.

I have photographs of the documents...

Not a bad way to spend a dollar for an old box of letters one Saturday afternoon at an estate sale!
There are many varieties of Treasure, Dig?

She loved roses....

I would go to her place after work and mow her lawn and help her with her flowers...
She was proud of her roses and her Son...
She always had a home cooked dinner for me...

I've heard talk from the opposition party that they want America to fail just to bring the current administration down.

I pledged to protect and defend the Constitution and, by the Love of America and GOD,
I will until I Die!

I am like America.

I will be your Friend and help you when you need help.

But, cross me, take advantage of me or piss me off and I will show you how you erred.

I put in today for my next Vacation, much to the dismay of several Supervisors and Plant Managers.....:coffee2:

I have chosen the week following Labor Day.

Now then, Where shall I go?

I'm thinking Louisiana just because of the Creole Cuisine.....:notworthy:
