CRISPINS CRITTERS

Negative on the pics Scott

Hmmm..

OK, let's try something different.
Because, as I've heard, to try the same thing and expect a different result is either the work of an idiot or the work of a genius.

C'mon, Folks! Don't say it!
I'm somewhere between the two.
Somewhere.... :dontknow:

Y'all tell me if this one works....

Uncle Bill,

One of my Hispanic Friends at work came up to me today and said, "I hear that you like hot peppers. Do you want some HOT peppers?"
I asked, "Are they hotter than Habaneros?"
He smiled as he handed me the bag....

001.JPG

My eyes got big as I recognized these beauties as "Carolina Reapers!"

If you are not familiar with "Carolina Reapers,"
let me say that Habanero's register at between 100,000-300,000 on the Scoville scale.
These bad boys are rated at 1,569,300 on the Scoville scale!

I'm going to harvest the seeds, using gloves, of course.

I can send you some seeds if you wish; In time for Spring Planting!

Let me know.

And, if anyone else wants some seeds, I'll have plenty to send your way!
PM me....
I love to share pain! :laughing7:

Best,

Scott

Can't wait to try them out in my usual Friday night boiled peanuts....
I told him that I'd have a gallon of milk on hand.
He said that to sip on hot coffee would be better to kill the heat.

I guess that we'll see....

Had to change out a drive wheel on a Crown jack.
I change out 3-4 every week....
(Raymond jack drive wheels are MUCH easier. I can change them in 10 minutes or less....)

Crowns are not hard, but, a pain, dangerous and time consuming...

.38 020.JPG
Crap rolled up in the axle and a worn wheel.

.38 021.JPG
Finally pulled the axle and the drive wheel dropped.
The drive wheel weighs about 50-60 pounds. DON'T have your hand under it when it drops....

.38 022.JPG
The drive wheel axle shaft....

This is perhaps the most dangerous job concerning work on a jack.
I have to remove the jack stands and slowly lower the jack onto the new wheel until it is aligned to accept the splined axle shaft.
You can bet your .....
Ahem!
I'm full attention when I perform this task.

Perhaps I'll have my camera for pictures the next time that I have to change a Raymond jack drive wheel.....

So, how are these pictures working out for y'all?

Best,

Scott

And, on my calendar,
A week from today is Veterans court again!
An opportunity to meet with John and discuss his progress!

I am so fortunate to be chosen as a Volunteer Mentor and to continue to serve by helping a fellow Vet...

I hope all feel the blessings that I have come to enjoy!

Y'all Be Well, Hear?

Folks,

Live from the Dance Tour.

Bill,

At the risk of showing my age, your offerings are always "right on time." :headbang:

Thanks for sharing what I may have been humming to myself all day!

Be Well, Brother!

Best,

Scott

A tune, that I frequently hum to myself almost every day, that has poignancy in my life is this....

For reasons that my Friends will understand.

Scott

Then, again, I hear this playing in my mind....

I'm reminded that Ramstein is a Military base in Germany....

I can, nor will say any more.

Perhaps a percurser to my nightly dream visitations? Perhaps....

"If you have never loved, you may never cry....."
"If you have never trusted, you may not die."

OK, Kids...

It's getting real at the site that I moderate....
Grab some popcorn and sit back....

I just posted this....

Due to the competition for hair services, "mink" services, eyebrows, braids, etc, I have noticed that posts are being reported as spam. I'm tired of the crap. If I see more reports of spam on the subject, from others who post the same services, EVERYONE will be banned. If you are offering hair, eyebrows or whatever, DON'T report someone else as spam. I can and will delete and ban EVERYONE! "Services" are borderline unacceptable. Don't push it....Don't make me require that you post your Georgia Cosmetology license number to your post.....But, if you have a Georgia license number, please post it.
That way, folks will know that you are legitimate.
So, everyone, play fair, and everyone can play. Dig?
If you have any questions, PM me.

I also PM'd the Administrator, asking for his thoughts on this posting of mine....
I'd bet that if I required a cosmological licence to post, there would be a reduction in 70%-80% of posts for "Braids," etc........
Seems like anyone who has a comb will post offering "their services"....

Folks, you wouldn't believe some of the posts that I've seen...
I shake my head and wonder who would want to look so messed up...:dontknow:

Yes, I'm a lucky man.
In so many ways, now that I stop for a moment and reflect....Even after some 40 years....

Though I've never won a lottery, nor gained fame;
My passion is still the same.

I am still alive, having cried,
When Friends died.

I've lived on, when I thought there was no hope.
I've lived on when I just couldn't cope.

I've lived on, giving my strength and love to others,
Who felt lost, and so far from them self.
I gave of myself....
And always will.

Yes, I'm a lucky man.

How 'bout you?

Scott: please advise Tristan ,that part of your online followers strenuously disapprove of his totaling out a vehicle without proper video being taken.

(Hope he's alright though.)

A man placed an order for one hamburger, French fries and a drink.

He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife

He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.

He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering.

Obviously they were thinking, 'That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.'

As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said, they were just fine - they were used to sharing everything.

People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She
sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink..

Again, the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said 'No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.'

Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it you are waiting for?'

She answered
