When I first learned to play a guitar, self taught, right-handed as a lefty, some 30+ years ago, I first learned 2 chords.
I strummed them in different tempos.

I then added a third chord.
Then another.
Then....

Soon, the words that I had in my mind fell into place as I put music to my life.

It was never easy.

My fingers have bled, working the fret, my patience has several times worn thin....
But, I knew that my love of music was worth the challenge.

I've smashed 2-3 inferior guitars as my skill increased.
I've modified guitars. I've lost guitars to pawn brokers and ex-wives.
I have been in bands.
I have played live on stage.
I have recorded in a studio.
I have taken College Keyboard Classes to learn notes and music theory.
I know how to play piano and bass guitar a bit, also....

I Will always believe that music is the common denominator of Humanity.



(Notice the "Ovation" that Kevin plays? I've seen REO in concert many times and even have "bootleg" photos and cassettes....)

The positives in my life shall overcome that which has haunted me for years!

I have just requested to be relieved of moderating duties for the other Facebook group that I moderate.

David, I have faithfully tried to help Moderate this site. I have been cussed. I have been threatened. I am tired of trying to help. I'm sorry, my Friend, but I would like to discontinue my Moderating duties. If I may offer advice, I think that you should be more clear of what is not allowed to post. So many bullshit posts about non-tangible items. I wish you the best for the new year and hope that the site will continue to grow in a positive manner. Always, my Best Wishes,

Joke of the day/-An elderly woman had just returned to her home from an evening of Church services when she was startled by an intruder. So last night I picked up my grandson and wife at the airport. They went to Virginia to see snow. My wife fell asleep on the drive home. He is 11. He says “ Grandpa I got me a girlfriend. He describes her. I said “ a country girl huh?” I said “ can she cook?” He replied “ I don’t know grandpa but she’s HOT” haha Find out she winked at him. Oh she’s 17...... haha
