Remember earlier when I said that I helped a co-worker replace a lower drive unit on a Crown double pallet jack?

Yesterday I replaced one by myself!

It went smooth!

The beginning of the week, we had 4 pages of PM's and battery waterings the are "Due Soon," "Due Today" and "Past Due."

After tonight, we are now down to 2 1/2 pages.

Of course, there are daily reports of load wheels, drive wheels, caster wheels, switches and other issues that pre-empt the routine PM's.

We be hustlin'!

I love turning wrenches and getting my hands dirty!

Mama always told me,
"Scott, I don't care if you build houses, work in a store or fix things.
Just be honest, have a legal job and be happy in what you do."

I'm sure that Mom is Happy......

At that price pretty hard to loose....I bought some of those type of coins myself and gave most of them away as prizes on the Canadian forum over the years.

You may want to consider stock pilling a big whack of them and it'll give you something to liquidate down the road when the finances are tight.

Hurricane warning issued for my house down there, I don't expect it to be anywhere as severe as other places will be, however I expect some damage. Hopeful for no damage...my grandfather though, probably not so lucky...

Governor just spoke on tv. Storm has shifted farther west. Diesel they said winds of 65-80 in my area. I'm thinking/praying Grandpa will be ok. It looks like the entire west coast will be hit. But Floridians are praying that sucker continues West..........more as I can. I'm prepping 5 houses.......

Was cutting the grass earlier and seems like the yellow jackets are back.
One hit me on the back of my right hand.
Finished cutting the grass and now my hand looks like a softball.....

The Landlord thought my truck problems might be a bad starter/solenoid.
Gonna pull the starter tomorrow and he will give me a ride to Autozone to have it tested.
I sure hope that's what it is.
Right now, I just want to know what the problem is SO I CAN FIX IT!!!

One of the perks of working for the company that I do is, "Employee Purchase Discount."

Meaning that anything that the company sells, I can purchase at cost.
However, most items are sold by the case.
Items from crab legs, beef, and even 50 pound bags of peanuts!

Guess I need to look into buying a freezer.

Looks like I'll never be hungry again.

Here in North Georgia, the forecast for the next few days is for lot's of rain, flood warnings and the potential of tornadoes.

I cut the grass today so that if the worse comes, at least we'll look good.....
