2GF,

I'm sure that you would have done what was necessary to protect....

Sometimes it's best to stand down and let the civvies handle things. :coffee2:
(Too damn much paperwork involved, dig?)

I saw the VA article on a Facebook post of the Asheville, NC site, where I hope to soon be a valued asset.

Had a pork roast in the freezer that I took out last night and put in the crock-pot.
Cooked all night.

Along with some gravy made from the cookin' juices, some bread and butter and some sweet tea,
Dinner is ready!

"Ramen? We don't need no stinkin' ramen!"

Thinking ahead, as is my wont,
I saved back some of the pork for BBQ sandwiches and plan to also have home-made Brunswick stew!

Yeah, I can cook!

Hope all have a GREAT Supper!

Best,

Scott

Folks,
Here's another song from the gal at the Amsterdam airport...her name is Kat Perkins and she performed on the voice.

As an afterthought,

I should have no trouble applying for an internship at ANY VA Center,
having once worked for the VA in Wichita, Ks.

It was a "temporary" assignment but I still have a letter of reference.....

However, there is a story behind the assignment that nobody knows.....

Perhaps I'll share the story later.
If anyone is interested.....

Best,

Scott

OK.

Here's the story.

As I just sent to President Trump.
(Certain redaction's apply)

Honorable President Trump,

I am a "Cold War" Vet and have worked for the VA in Wichita, Kansas.
It was a "Temporary" assignment but I fulfilled my duty.

I have a letter of reference at hand.

I performed my duty then in 1998, when a draft dodger was the President.

At the time, I was homeless, and always hungry.

When my shift duty was over, I pretended to go home.

I actually went to a grocery store and bought a loaf of bread and some bologna and snuck back into the facility and "lived" in a closed section for aged Vets.

I slept overnight, avoiding the security guards and was always able to show up for morning assignments!

Knowing the "rounds of the security staff," I was able to enjoy showers, fresh linens and kept my food in the refrigerator at the long ago forgotten "Nurses Station."

When questioned about my food in the refrigerator, I said,

"This is my work station and that is my lunch."

I was never detected....

Now, only you know of my transgression.

Please give Representative Collins, from Georgia's 9th District, your ear on Veteran's issues.

I've met with Congressman Collins several times to discuss Veteran's issues.

Perhaps, we may all make America Great!

God Bless You, God Bless our Veterans and God Bless America!

My Best Wishes,

Scott Xxxxxx

Perhaps my communication with my Congressman and the President is scary to some....

I say that NOT communicating is more fearful!

Know your Representatives!
Meet with them and talk about your issues!

That's how Democracy works!

Hmmm....

Too much of Politics?

Too bad.

Grow up, quit crying, grow a pair and be active!

We all have a story.....

Dig?

You got lyrics?
I got chords....

Someone mention "Crazy?"

Yeah, let's play....

"Crazy On You"

We may still have time
We might still get by
Every time I think about it I want to cry
With the bombs and the devils
And the kids keep coming
Nowhere to breathe easy...no time to be young
But I tell myself that I'm doing alright
There's nothing left to do tonight but go crazy on you

My love is the evening breeze touching your skin
The gentle sweet singing of leaves in the wind
The whisper that calls, after you in the night
And kisses your ear in the early light
You don't need to wonder, you're doing fine
And my love, the pleasure's mine
Let me go crazy on you

Wild man's world is crying in pain
What you gonna do when everybody's insane
So afraid of fortune, so afraid of you
What you gonna do?
Crazy on you, let me go crazy on you
I was willow last night in my dream
I bent down over a clear running stream
I sang you the song that i heard up above
And you keep me alive with your sweet flowing love
Crazy, crazy on you,
Let me go crazy, crazy on you

Yes, sleep will come hard tonight. Again.

Perhaps this tune may help....

Scott

Here we go...
Nightmares....

Can't I get an hour or two of peaceful sleep?

"Certainly, Scott. Just remember your friends....."
"Live life fully, love your future and love your friends."

So, I will sleep tonight, comfortably numb, With the love I have for my Friends?

"There you go, lad! That's the ticket!"

For my Friends.....

My Best,

Scott

Sleep, anyone?
