CRISPINS CRITTERS

10 String? BC Rich has been doing it for years.... I prefer this to the classical 10 string.

OV,

You got to go with what works for you....that goes for relationships, detecting, career choices, etc....like I used to tell the kids at work if this type of work doesn't give you a buzz better to move on than be miserable for the rest of your life.

Bill

I fully agree, now if I could just break away from what I do. I used to enjoy it but the fun left years ago. So I just keep at it because of the benefits...gotta have health insurance. But brighter days will come. Someday I'll leave the snow behind for good!!!

Just posted elsewhere on this website....

Best,

Scott

I was once in a band called, "From the Street."
Played rhythm and lead guitar.

Mostly original compositions. Some cover stuff....but, only during practice....Dig?
Played on stage a few times, recorded a demo and.....:dontknow:

AND,

UNCA has a baseball team...huh?

To swing a bat again for the winning hit or to make that miraculous catch, deep in left field that saves the game....Perhaps to be a batting coach? Help young players learn strategies? Develop their talent?

"The Thrill of Victory....."

Yeah, My interests are many....

Triumph?
The're made in England ain' t they?:laughing7:

Why, Yes. Yes they are.

I've had the pleasure of cruising a Norton 750 "Commando."

Many years ago.....

Best,

Scott

PS.
Can you say, "Suicide clutch?"

If one truly knows music,
they will understand my affection for this tune....
From bleeding fingers learning to play a guitar to
Breaking into State property at Murphy Hall on KU to play a piano and write music when I was a teen....
State Property? A Felony?
OH My! What's the statute of limitations?
I may be a wanted man!
Check the pictures in your Post Office! :hello:

"I told ya not to look for a piano, ya little goof!"

And tonight, I will dream of flying.

Wieder fliegen über die Berge von Deutschland.

With the lift of success to carry me over the challenges of life. :headbang:

As Always,

My Best Wishes,

Scott

Bill,

Talked today with the owner of a NAPA car repair center from El Salvador that we do a lot of work for and he mentioned this place.
In "The Mall of Georgia." (exit #4 off 985....)

Pepper Palace -The Planet's Number One Hot Shop

It's about as far away as the Golden Corral that I visit every Veteran's Day...(same exit, just turn left.)

I've never been to "The Mall of Georgia."

Perhaps I should visit soon? :icon_scratch:

I will soon send to you some of the habby seeds that I was given. Very soon!

Best,

Scott

Folks,

Santana - Soul Sacrifice at Woodstock live.....man this makes me feel old....lol.

Bill,

Welcome to my World!

When I feel old, thinking of the past, especially music, I find myself looking towards the Future.

To be bogged down in the past....

Regrets, animosities, bad decisions....

It is all "baggage at the terminal."

"Where is your destination?"
What is "your place?"
"A goal?"

In the "Twilight Zone" that we call....

LIFE!

Best,

Scott

"A short synopsis of our Friend, Scott.....
Is he so smart that he is yet stupid or just ignorant enough to keep on learning?

Born of a middle class family in the 50's. Seems to have always learned things the hard way. Always a Friend to all, though it cost him a black eye in youth. Always there for Friends and strangers alike. His next step is recorded also...
In the 'Twilight Zone.'"

Yeah,
I''m having so much fun here that if I DON'T move soon, I'll bust. Sheesh!

Spring and summertime is a good time to move.

I've had to move before from Kentucky to Kansas when Ice covered roadways and interstates.
The Governor closed the roadways.....and I was stuck for a week.
In a rented U-Haul with my possessions in tow....

All of my plants died.....

I HATE MOVING!

(But, again, moving faces me...)

Where, Oh, where will I land once again?

Best,

Scott

Did I mention that years ago I worked for Mayflower Moving and Storage?

"Wrapped, packed, and drove." A LONG time ago....Bet I'm still good to go on all!

Y'all be good to one 'nother, hear?

A "bucket List" addition....
To play my music on a major stage.,..Say, here. At Sandstone. My "stomping grounds!"

HA!

Perhaps a new band may soon arise?

The name of the band?

Your suggestion might be the winner!

And style of music played?
C'mon, you know Scotty....

It's always a 'work in progress.'

Scott

And I'm rambling again, aren't I?

Somebody must be held accountable, don't you agree?

Yeah, Let's not delve into political discourse here, my Friends.....
Perhaps we disagree on issues but,

WE ARE STILL FRIENDS!

Always,

Scott

Thanks Scott and Bill!
Scott no Ovations any longer I use to have both the 12 and 6 string Ovations in the mid 1970's and I remember them as great acoustic guitars.
I will load up some more drool worthy pics of some of my other guitars as soon as the heater goes off. Lol!
Best of luck out there!
Rusty

This is a Cigar Box Guitar and matching amp I made using consecutive numbered "My Father Cigars" cigar boxes.
The amp is finished and sounds awesome but I'm still working on the guitar.
I have to cut a nut and make a bridge plus install pickups and electronics as well as give the neck a coat of lacquer or?
The neck I made from hard rock maple and the FB curly maple. Accurate scale length of 25" think dobro.
I did take the time and installed a truss rod to make the neck adjustable for the future.
Hope you guys like it!
