Though I can play any guitar, perhaps a piano, tuned or not, and....

I've never claimed to be a vocalist.

Yet, on a good day and plenty of Guinness,
I CAN still sing!

Ah! The "pipes" of Scott as a Youth....
Any note, any octave....

In Junior High, I was classified as an alto tenor.
Meaning that I had to stand and sing next to the girls...YUCK!
Thus, a talent not fully nurtured?

Can I have a "Do Over?"

And today we are home. Spent a couple days on the beach. The 10 y/o and I went shark fishing all day yesterday. I would carry the baited hooks beyond the breakers and drop them off......my grandson and wife didn't like that. We didn't catch anything..... But 5 miles south of us a woman got bit multiple times by a shark...... Same day. No we weren't chumming!!!!!!! Didn't even see a shark!!!

1280 feet. The trail involved lots of rock climbing (stepping on rocks) but I accomplished it wearing flip flops. Everyone else we met on trail had hiking boots on! lol
My knee was sore, and climbing down was definitely harder for me then going up. Wife wants to go hike Ragged mountain which is right next to this one next weekend. It's definitely good exercise!

I have hesitated to reply to your post, but I cannot contain myself any longer....


As a youth in Boy Scouts, a hiking trip of 15 miles, a rope crossing or two of streams soon became a life struggle for Members of Troop 53!
A Torrential rain pounded the area in Missouri.

Scott lost his shoes in the flood. He continued and finished the hike in his "rubbers."

Helping other Scouts cross the swollen, deadly creeks...



He helped plan and attended the next Year's Trip......

As a Senior Scout Member. :thumbsup:

Who and why? I can't stand people who feel a need to harass others because they aren't intelligent enough to "turn the channel" or move on when they see or read what they apparently don't like. Who is this person so we can all send them a message in hopes of educating them on their improper tactics and ettiquette? As I said on the political forum- "Let your freak flag fly brotherman!" Don't censor or sugar coat on our account and certainly not for the jackwad who wishes to censor you!

Scott, I believe Crispin started the thread so members could express their selves and it morphed into what it is now.

Your violating no rules so feel free to continue. If someone doesn't like what your posting they can:

A. Skip over your posts, or B. don't enter the thread.

Unless the OP Crispin complains about your posts to a mod and I highly doubt he is one who told you to stop knowing him personally, feel free to continue your posts. If someone is harassing you with PMs about your posts feel free to forward it to one of the mods and we will address the issue..

Fortunately, for the director of the missive, this was not the case.

However, I must say,

I've known him for many years, though haven't seen in many years.

There are stories that I cannot tell about Gregorzy and I.

If I see him again, shall it be a hug?
