The So called Drones In N.J appear to be Firing Lazers at Each Other (though it Could be CGI) , there have been Several Different Videos. I was Ignoring them till now. Because of possible CGI

One seems to be Spraying something Or there Could Be a Beam from the Gound Pointed Up .

I Don't think the crash Is real. If it was It's most likely a Moron's real toy drone being funny to see who all shows up (swatting)

I gotta wonder if some billionaire (Musk?) is doing this just for shits and giggles, or if it's some new weapon technology the Defense Dept. is testing out.

If there is people riding in them, a few shotgun pellets bouncing off the thing might get them to rethink what they're doing. If "they" were doing this around my county there would be a lot of dead drones laying around after the first night, and it's doubtful they'd come back again.

Same here in Florida. People are zeroed in, loaded up and ready for them so I doubt that we'll see any.

It is. Drones are classified as aircraft, and it is illegal to shoot at (or otherwise attempt to sabotage or damage) an aircraft under 18 USC 32.

Lately It seems anything in the air is being called a drone, helicopters, Planes, add in the people looking for a laugh sayng they saw a UFO. People faking videos, pictures, people that wouldn't know their b*tt from a hole in the ground. The Numbers make sense.
I am sure you could probably narrow it down to maybe 1 or 2 drones per area.
