I only know of one other copper culture celt being posted online in the last seven years . It was found in Maine. Irocinally I just posted a link and mentioned the celt to Rick ( Nova Scotia ) in his post a week ago about finding native copper nuggetts and copper culture finds . The other celt which I have a pic of. Yet not permission to post it was a finer looking speciman ! This one deserves its spot on the banner just as much as the last I have seen posted though . The one from Maine was never posted on this site unfortunetly . ! MaineReilic
 

Nice native copper Celt! I found this Copper Culture Awl in Pulaski Ny back in 2011. It was found near the mouth of the Salmon River Esuary in my brothers hay field. The Great Lakes are great highways. Yours must have been such a shock. Congrats.

Yes that is an awesome find. Banner or no banner (here) it is a banner find.

Maybe many people didn't recognize the word "Celt" in the title ?
frankly I was one of those up till just a few days ago As Maine Relic mentioned above, cluing me in on one he knew of.
