Cool Shield,Couple Injun's and another "Just My Luck" copper disc

The alarm went off at 3:45 this morning, met Ty at the 1700's house,we waited around 10 min.'s for some decent light and we were digging by 5:15.No more than 20 min.'s into and we both had a copper apiece. At least I thought I did....This thing has absolutely no detail....Notta!!! It's 1.7mm thick and 28.4mm round....Out of all my copper's this one has to be the worst, and guess what,I can't read a date on any stinking one of em'.So this is my Just My Luck copper :-\

The Injun's were more on the "cooperative" side.....I found my first and only(1864 FATTY) last weekend, today I was fortunate to take 2 home with me ,an 1861 (FATTY) and a 1865 that's in beautiful shape....That kinda made my day right there!!

That's a Cool Badge.

And the IH is the nicest ground-found 1860's one I've seen, much less dug.

Well done! Your next Copper will have a date, buddy. No worries.

Congrats on those great finds CMan.
That 65 IH is pristine. Any large Coppa is a great find--date or no date.

Those are some DAMN FINE Indian Heads there Joe! BEAUT-I-FUL!!!! BOTH OF THEM You have one for the start of

the war 1861, and one for the end of the war 1865! To me, they are both pretty coins......They fatty because it is

nice and FAT......and the 65 because that green patina is one of the prettiest patinas that I have ever seen on a coin PERIOD...WHAT A GORGEOUS COIN!

Whoa! That 65 is a beauty! :o And that badge is sooo cool! AND I bet Burdie thinks that large cent of yours is awesome! :D He came and hunted with me yesterday at an old site. He dug up what he thought was a LC, only to be denied. :-\ Turned out the lawn person must have dropped a modern quarter. :P :D

FANTASTIC finds,Civil! You two are digging up some awesome items!

Congrats! Nana :)

You know, KirkPA is an expert at finding detail on an otherwise blank-looking coppa! :o

That site looks beautiful and in need of more detecting! Great stuff, have fun.
