One more thing, how does the newscast know that anyone is digging? You think the FBI told them they were digging? I think folks are doing "math" on this one. I see no shovels, no dirty hands, gloves, shoes or pants. Unless someone has seen a shovel or equipment capable of digging, I'd rule out digging. In the video, I see a clip board with papers, yep, that's a sure sign of an investigation. I can't make out what the tripod thing is though....thoughts?

The news story says they contacted the Feds in 2012, stating that they had found the lost payroll.
It’s now 2018 and the FBI is saying that they are carrying out a court ordered investigation.
There should be some public records which shed some light to this mystery.

Government cover up?
(Name omitted) from the company, claims that ground penetrating radar and other sensors indicate something is buried there. Furthermore, he claims to have recovered Civil War era relics. DCNR disputes that, saying the relics were from the World War I time period.
