I have two both where found in a one year period in a gold rush ghost town near Georgetown California, the first was a 1855-S half dollar in VF condition I got 2,000 for because the dealer had never had one before.Then I bought a new detector I was using a Tesoro Cutlass and upgraded to a Whites 6000 that I love.The second was in the same area with the new detector I dug a n 1864 5 dollar gold coin that was graded XF. I haven't found any coins lately that come close to these!
