This weekend has been one of my best coin hunts ever. The shield nickel with rays yesterday and today we hunted two plantation homes and I came up with two more awesome finds and broke my oldest coin record three times this weekend. 1867 shield on yesterday's post and 1857 seated quarter this morning and after lunch today my record 1825 large cent. Those large cents are very hard to come by down here in the south so I was very pleased with it. Thanks guys please leave comments and I'll have a video on YouTube in a couple days of this weekends finds... Good luck and HH. signals diggem all... LaGold

Gotta love the Orleans mint mark on a down south coin! Great group of coins there!

Congrats on the sweet weekend. Sharp seated coins like that don't turn up very often. I was quite pleased with the one seated quarter I've found in the last ten years-- and it was nearly worn smooth.

Yeah that quarter is a sweet one and that was the first seated quarter for any of the three of us that went. I realized how lucky I was to find one much less in that kind of condition. It's nice to get a great find like this one, this is the kind of days we all are in this hobby for. Thanks again guys for all the comments they are much appreciated.
