:hello:

I don't know if this is the right place for this subject :P so Jeff please move if you think not :icon_thumleft: this idea came to me after viewing sandcreek4 thread in My Daily Snapshot (back to posting pictures) I know there are a lot of competent Photographers on T. Net, plus everybody can take part in this thread :icon_thumleft:

So lets see your Best Pictures, it can be any subject you chose :icon_thumleft: I'll start with what I regard as mine, it's not one of my finds but somewere were me and the Wife went last year on a day out, Bolton Castle in the Yorkshire Dales, this is one of the places that housed Mary Queen of Scots during here incarceration, before she was Executed :o

Hi guys, let me show you some pictures from my treasure hunt trips in Russia.
I guess these are not the best ones, but I like them - so, please have a look! From Russia - with love:

Beautiful sunset - end of April, the "hot season" for treasure hunting! :icon_thumleft:

Here in Russia we actually do not have a lot of roads - Russians call "road" the direction they want to go! ;D

Good winch is an essential attribute of the treasure-hunter expedition car - especially, when you are
several kilometers away from the nearest place there the tractor can be found

If it is interesting for you to look at them, I can post some more pictures! :hello:

Thank you for warm greetings, here I post some more images!
Off-roading during treasure-hunting - very often there's no bridge to cross the river - so you do it without a bridge :)

Sometimes even in the "middle of nowhere", in the "God forgotten" places, you can find the monuments and graves of soldiers -
reminding that more than half a century ago serious battles took place here :(

76-millimetre shell is an unpleasant, but common finding in that places:

I myself prefer not to dig "residues of war", and go for coins, crosses, rings and other old things you can find in the ground.
Here are some of my findings. The coins are mainly from 19th and 20th centuries, but there are some from 18th

:'( :'( :'(

A sad reminder of War :'( were there are no winners :'(

Thanks for showing us your finds :headbang: and places you Hunt :icon_thumleft:

SS

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????

Gawd, send it here, it's so hot today.

Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic. Taken several years ago on a visit to the castle there. The quality isn't as good as I'd like. It is a digital scan of a photo. (Took all my photos on film then.)

I'm going to post some of mine it two posts. The first is black and white. I cannot say that these are by "best" but they are some of my favorites. Two are infra-red images and I use on camera filters to achieve some results. Some dodging was done on the second image to achieve the darker blacks (traditional darkroom techniques and not digital manipulation).

Here is my color post. Once again, maybe not my best, but some of my favorites. The greens in the first image are amazing. The whole area is surrealsitic with all of the different mosses growing.

Saw this outside 5 mins ago, it's about 2 and a half to 3 inches long and was sheltering from the wind, so I didn't disturb it.

I chased this butterfly around my garden for ages, every time I got near, it flew off. But when it got out of breath :laughing7:, I managed to take this snap of it.
