Beck: Government ‘Dragging’ Us Into a War We ‘Will Not Survive’ in the Middle East

Or become a lib.:laughing7: It's not cannibalism in this case it's Schlock and awe

Exactly, It is for the terror Value of it,, Hence the name "terrorist". Why would a supposedly civilized country support such barbarism?

As others have stated, I am against actions and interference, Our politicians do not know or care how to win a war, Everything is for the "optics". That means we march off our best young people and the elite and lowly masses are watching a play that uses real blood. Bring them all home and let these barbarians sort out the rest ,( unless of course they nuke us, or use non existent chemical weapons on us?)

Secret Canyon, I am from near your area and I am sure we are both too leathery and tough for any kind of meal.

Funny how timelines circle. The pendulum swings one way and then another. I actually think that the leftists have already started many young people swinging to the right.

After all, it is always fun to buck "the Man" when you are young.

“This is such a warning sign that we are on the wrong side that even Vladimir Putin sounds sane compared to the progressive Republicans and progressive Democrats in Washington,” Beck said, noting that Putin recently told the U.K. Prime Minister that “one should hardly back those who kill their enemy and eat their organs.”

“We have to put down our partisan politics, Beck said. “We have got to stop intervening in the wars in the Middle East. This sounds awful but if they’re going to kill each other, let ‘em kill each other. We will not survive this. Please — stop the back and forth with the Republicans and Democrats. Our children and our country are at stake.”

Glenn Beck - you're in danger of losing your corporate sponsorship. Time was when Joe McCarthy would wash your mouth out with precious bodily fluids for taking sides with a Russian president. Beck - you're a peacenik, a naysayer, a cut and runner wimp. Any red blooded American boy knows war good - peace bad. Business.

Sometimes I think that Obama is just out-republicaning the Republicans just to see them take the other side and run the hypocrite meter off the scale. He must be howling.

Do you think cannibalism is occuring in Syria and/or that it is the norm? If so, I recommend they start eating brains...they will all die of a prion disease within a year and a half.

So that's the reason there is not much rational thinking going on - mad voter disease.

Oh so I need to get past giving military aid to sworn enemies of America, people who have publicly stated America is their enemy...

Treason.........

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

Sorry but I do not get over, past, over look or excuse betraying our country and committing treason as easy as you.

Your Saddam example don't fly, he never declared America an enemy.

Here is an absolute... We are at war with Muslim radicals, Muslim Brotherhood is a sworn enemy of America and an extreme Muslim radical group calling for the destruction of America.......

It isn't rocket science......

Appears some even condone treason, the giving of aid to our enemies.....

Are you suggesting that President Obama is guilty of treason?

We are NOT at war with the "Muslim radicals, Muslim Brotherhood" the last time I looked.

You're right about Saddam; he never declared America an enemy.

But we did. That's the critical difference. President Obama is responsible for foreign relations, not us. Congress declares war.

The world of diplomacy is a complicated one, just as complicated as very smart humans can make it. Public posturing and private actions are two very different things. Remember, it's a LOT cheaper to spend money diplomatically than send military force, not to mention the lives of American soldiers.

There are few "simple solutions" in diplomacy. It is more complicated then rocket science, sorry.

Wake up!!!!!!!!!

MBH has declared America their enemy on multiple occasions, they support terrorist groups including al-Qaida.....

Would you have sent military aid to Germany and Japan in 1940, we were not at war?:banghead:

Who in their right minds sends military aid to people who have declared you their enemy

"the Muslim Brotherhood is ready to move from the era of propaganda and base-building to one of revolutionary action. At least, its hundreds of thousands of followers are being given that signal. Some of them will engage in terrorist violence as individuals or forming splinter groups; others will redouble their efforts to seize control of their countries and turn them into safe areas for terrorists and instruments for war on the West.

When the*extreme and*arguably marginal British Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary*says that Islam will conquer the West and raise*its flag over the White House, that can be treated as wild rhetoric.*His remark is getting lots of attention because he said it in English in an interview with CNN. Who cares what he says?

But when the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood*says the same thing in Arabic, that's a program for action, a call to arms for hundreds of thousands of people, and a*national security threat to every Western country.

The Brotherhood is the group that often dominates Muslim communities in the West and runs mosques.*Its cadre control front groups that are often recognized by Western democratic governments and media as authoritative.*Government officials in many countries*meet with these groups, ask them to be advisers*for counter-terrorist strategies and national policies, and even fund them.

President Barack Obama speaks about a conflict limited solely to al-Qaida. And if one is talking about the current military battle in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Yemen*that point makes sense. Yet there is a far bigger and wider battle going on in which revolutionary Islamists seek to overthrow their own rulers and wage long-term, full-scale struggle against the West. If it doesn't involve violence right now it will when they get strong enough or gain power.

More than three years ago, I warned about this development, in a detailed analysis explaining, “The banner of the Islamist revolution in the Middle East today has largely passed to groups sponsored by or derived from the Muslim Brotherhood.” I pointed out the differences—especially of tactical importance—between the Brotherhood groups and al-Qaida or Hizballah, but also discussed the similarities. This exposure so upset the Brotherhood that it put a detailed response on its official website to deny my analysis.

Yet now here is the Brotherhood’s new supreme guide, Muhammad Badi giving a sermon entitled, “How Islam Confronts the Oppression and Tyranny,” translated by MEMRI. Incidentally, everything Badi says is in tune with the stances and holy books of normative Islam. It is not the only possible interpretation but it is a completely legitimate interpretation. Every Muslim knows, even if he disagrees with the Brotherhood’s position, that this isn’t heresy or hijacking or misunderstanding.

Finally, this is the group that many in the West, some in high positions, are urging to be engaged as a negotiating partner because it is supposedly moderate.

What does he say?

--Arab and Muslim regimes are betraying their people by failing to confront the Muslim’s real enemies, not only Israel but also the United States. Waging jihad against both of these infidels is a commandment of Allah that cannot be disregarded. Governments have no right to stop their people from fighting the United States. “They are disregarding Allah's commandment to wage jihad for His sake with [their] money and [their] lives, so that Allah's word will reign supreme” over all non-Muslims.

--All Muslims are required by their religion to fight: "They crucially need to understand that the improvement and change that the [Muslim] nation seeks can only be attained through jihad and sacrifice and by raising a jihadi generation that pursues death just as the enemies pursue life." Notice that jihad here is not interpreted as so often happens by liars, apologists, and the merely ignorant in the West as spiritual striving. The clear meaning is one of armed struggle.

--The United States is immoral, doomed to collapse, and "experiencing the beginning of its end and is heading towards its demise."

Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it......

The Muslim Brotherhood has declared America their enemy, they have called for our destruction......

Since this article was printed the Muslim brotherhood has taken over Egypt and our leader is now giving militatry aid in the billions to someone who is calling for our very destruction...

It isn't rocket science, THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD IS OUR ENEMY!

Egyptian Politicians Are Openly Talking About War With America

America has a long history of naively dumping weapons and cash onto corrupt regimes that later decide they hate us. In the 80s, for example, we supported the Afghanistan rebels. One of those rebels went by the name of “Osama bin Laden”.

Now, we’ve been giving billions in foreign aid, Abram’s tanks, and F-16 fighter jets to the government of Egypt, which is unstable at best. We’re even giving tear gas so they can stop protests against their tyranny.

This means the chances of a group that doesn’t like us coming into power is absurdly possible. That’s why it’s disconcerting when we see influential politicians meeting with Egyptian President Morsi say that America is the “enemy” and that a “war” with America isn’t out of the question if certain *disputes went south.

Here’s a quote, emphasis mine, obviously:

“I’m very fond of battles.*With the enemies, of course – with America and Israel, but this battle must be waged with maximum judiciousness and calm. Even though*this is a secret meeting, we must all take an oath not to leak anything to the media, unless it is done officially by sister Pakinam [el-Sharkawy, a Morsi aide]. We need an official plan for popular national security, even if we…*

Okay… Fine… The principles behind what I’m saying are not really secret…*Our war is with America and Israel, not with Ethiopia.”

Don’t get me wrong. The US shouldn’t intervene in anything related to water disputes between Egypt or any other country. It’s not our business, and Americans shouldn’t ever be put at risk over the issues of other countries.

Our military should be defensive — not some kind of global referee. Marines, soldiers, airmen, and sailors shouldn’t die over Egyptian politics.

The point, however, is that we shouldn’t be giving F-16s and billions in aid to governments filled with influential politicians calling us “the enemy”.

We shouldn’t be giving support to regimes that attack and oppress their own people.

We shouldn’t be doing this because we don’t have the money, it’s morally wrong, and it’ll backfire in the end.

This should have been obvious years ago. That the feds continue to dump weapons and cash on these foreign governments is incoherent, bad policy, and must end. It’s a question of basic sanity.

What should our policy be towards Egypt? Just like it should be for every country. Be open to trade, but don’t give a dime in “foreign aid”. We can’t afford it and we shouldn’t risk it. It’s that simple...
