Avagos Goodies

Thanks guys, we had an even better week this past week. Around the second best of the year. We had one amazing box that yielded 11 x 90% and 5 x 40% including five Franklins! That's a quick 4.7 ounces right there, our second best box of the year!

We were only skunked on 2 out of 10 this week which is a really good average. At the end of the week we racked up 19 x 90% and 23 x 40% totaling 10.27 ounces! We also tied our longest silver box streak at 10.

My pickup bank had one CWR and a few loose... Skunked on the loose but the single CWR had 4 x 90% (2 Bens, 2 Kens) and a 40%, another ounce and a half right there.

Happy hunting everyone!

Fantastic week avago! That was a very solid box you had, the tides sure have changed over the past month and a half or so! Hoping that the trend continues, good luck next week!

Nearly found a dream box this week with my girlfriend this past week. It was an amazing rush! 98 Silvers - 84 x 90% and 14 x 40% including 27 Walkers, 42 Franklins, 15 x 1964 Kennedys and 14 x 40% Kennedys

In addition, the rest of our boxes yielded one more 90% (1963-D Franklin) and five more 40%.

Weekly total: 104 silvers - 85 x 90% and 19 x 40% for a total of 33.55 ounces! That's right around $530 in silver at today's spot price for $52 face value invested. Incredible week!

We had another stellar week thanks to a box containing some remnants of last weeks superbox! Out of eight searched we were skunked on five, found one 40% in another, 9 x 90% (two rolls containing more Walkers and Franklins), as well as the last box containing 42 x 90% and 4 x 40%. Here are this week's scores:

More pics on page 2 of http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/coin-roll-hunting/479753-luck-lady.html

Totals: 51 x 90% and 5 x 40%, including 28 Franklins and 18 Walkers for a total of 19.19 ounces! If it weren't for last week, this would have been our best week of the year.

Needless to say, October has been a record breaking month for us due mainly to these two huge boxes but also coupled with very solid boxes in between.

In October, out of 40 boxes searched we ended up pulling 166 x 90% and 90 x 40% including 41 x 1964 Ken, 80 x Ben Franklin and 45 x Walking Liberty for a grand total of 256 silvers, or 73.35 ounces!!! :treasurechest:8-):treasurechest:

I know we search a decent volume, but I never imagined we could have a month like this. To put it into perspective, we found more silvers this month than January through July combined and more ounces this month than January through the first part of September. Just incredible. The month represented an 82% increase in our silver found from boxes on the year.

It's hard to believe, but it happened! It's hard to even set a new goal for the end of the year at this point, but I think we'll now shoot for the 200oz. mark!! Between boxes, CWR and loose, we're now sitting on a total of 179.27 ounces. :occasion14:

Happy hunting everyone!

Jeezus I'll never catch you, I did get a call yesterday from my brother he's moving and he offered me the remains of my mother's coin collection. Whatever that means I'll see it Saturday. Maybe I can get close. Keep unrolling along !

Had another good week thanks to picking up a couple more scraps of the Franklin/Walker dump. After taking the first week of November off, we got right back into it.

IMAG0922_1_1.jpgIMAG0923_1.jpg

This box contained 21 silvers, all 90%: 2 x Kennedy, 13 x Franklin and 6 x Walker

Another decent box contained 2 x 90% and 10 x 40% this week.

It all added up to 26 x 90% and 17 x 40% from this week's eight boxes for a total of 11.92 oz!

I'd say we're off to a great start for the month! I will be upping our order in the coming week in an attempt to scoop up any more of these ridiculous rolls!

Good luck out there!

Another awesome week! Good luck with upping your volume to get the rest of that collection dump!

wow! thanks for serving as inspiration. can't wait to find my first franklin and then a walker!

Well, it was another week for the record books! We upped our order to 14 boxes in an attempt to score another piece of the collection dump action and we were not disappointed! One box early in the week came through with another huge score:

The box ended up having 90 silvers, mostly Franklins & Walkers: 87 x 90%, 3 x 40% including 15 x 1964, 38 x Franklin and 34 x Walker :treasurechest:8-):treasurechest: The box narrowly missed our earlier dream box by half an ounce in terms of silver content. This box was another 31.91oz! :2barsgold:

The other 13 boxes this week were mostly nothing spectacular including five skunks and another 4 x 90% and 19 x 40%, still a decent average.

We broke our weekly silver record AGAIN with a new high total of 113 silvers: 91 x 90% and 22 x 40% for a total of 36.17 ounces!! We are going to be SO spoiled once the hunting returns back to normal levels. Praise the silver gods!

One pickup missed my order this week, so we'll be down to just four boxes this week. We'll also likely be taking the following week off for Thanksgiving. Happy hunting everyone!

Had a more modest week this week. Only searched four boxes due to a missed order. From them we pulled 17 x 40%, no 90% this week. Keep on stackin'!

Another light week with just four boxes, but good hunting continues. No records, but strong and steady.

One skunk out of four boxes, and the other three yielded 8 x 90% and 20 x 40% including 1 Franklin and 4 Walkers.

5.85 ounces from four boxes is a great average. Wish they were all that good!

Also found a bunch of proofs this week along with a 1995 Olympic Baseball and 1995 Olympic Basketball matte commemoratives (CuNi). We also found a 100 Franc coin from Djibouti in a roll 100 Francs - Djibouti - Numista

Hey all, been a long time since my last post. I've been continuing to search but just haven't had time to update my log. We're all finished with boxes for the year and are planning to go on one more mini-road trip before the new year to see if we can scrape up any more silver. I'll wait until we're finished with that to post my year-end stats, but I can at least update to let everyone know how the rest of December went.

Since my last update, we searched 22 boxes and came out with a total of 101 more silvers! We had three good boxes that totaled between 3-4.5 ounces and the rest were just about average. We extended our highest silver box streak to twelve and were only skunked on 3 out of the 22.

In the 22 boxes we found 30 x 90% and 71 x 40% for a total of 21.35 ounces including 8 Franklins, 3 Walkers, our sixth 1970-D, our third 1982-P no "FG" and our first 1982-D Washington Commemorative, a beauty at that! December turned out to be our third best month of the year.

As a preview to our year-end totals, we searched 366 boxes total and ended up with exactly 1000 silvers!

We went on our mini road trip yesterday and did pretty well. Didn't break any records but we did come away with 2 x 90% and 8 x 40 after 200 miles driven and $460 CWR, $520 MWR and $69 loose. May have also picked up another Type II Ike, but I will need to examine it closer to determine for sure. Also found a silver dime on the floor next to a Coinstar, so free silver for us there!

While dumping a couple days ago, I was allowed to empty the long-filling internal reject bin on one of the machines and came away with $10+ in loose change as well as these three Canadian silvers. I'm not sure if they would let me do this regularly, but I'm sure going to try!

The next post will be our year-end roundup!
