Avagos Goodies

Had a good ratio of 90% to 40% last week.

We pulled eight 90% and two 40%. The 90% included a 1943 Walker, 1951-D Franklin and 1961-D Franklin x2.

Also pulled a 90% out of $130 CWR to push our silver total for the year just over 70oz. Still shooting for the 100 oz!

Only four boxes yielded four x 90% and six x 40%. Good 40%/90% ratio and only one skunk out of four.

Have a nice order or 10 boxes this week, hope the hunting is good!

Here's the full August roundup...

31 x 90% and 55 x 40%, including 9 Franklins and a Walker for a total of 86 silvers at 19.35 oz. We were able to TOP JULY somehow in terms of ounces (by 0.65 oz) with 13 fewer silvers, meaning our 40%/90% ratio was much better this month. Did a similar number of boxes, so volume didn't account for it.

Here's to a silverful September!! :occasion14:

Had a good week to kick off September... Did ten boxes, four of them skunks. Best box had one 90% and nine 40%.

My lucky lady found a neat Franklin that has some tape on it. It probably got stuck on there soon after being minted as the area under the tape is bright white and the rest is darkly toned. I'm leaving the tape on!

Total for the week: 25 silvers, 4 x 90% and 21 x 40% for a total of 4.55 oz. This was our third best week in terms of # of silver and the fourth best week in terms of silver ounces.

Found a few 40% bank hopping this week as well. Nothing to write home about but silver is silver! We're now a hair shy of 78 oz on the year.

Also sold some Ikes for a nice profit this week... rolling the profit right into the silver fund

Nice week avago! Glad that you found a decent amount of silver! A 2.5 silver per box average is really nice. Good deal on selling the ikes too! Good luck next week!

Hi all, checking in after another great week of hunting. Hoping things will keep up as we're well on our way to 100oz for the year.

We did eight boxes this week which yielded 30 silvers total: 8 x 90% and 22 x 40%, including two Franklins (1961-D, 1951) and three Walkers (1946, 1945, 1941).

The best box had 3 x 90% and 12 x 40% which is just shy of three ounces.

We were able to tack on 6.15 oz to our 2015 total which now stands at 84.96 oz. This past week ranked third on the year for best week.

Another amazing week of hunting last week. Between the boxes and CWR, it was our best week of the year!

Found my best CWR containing thirteen silvers: Two 40% Kennedy, six Franklins and five Walkers... a cool 4.27 oz. right there! Still waiting on the a solid dream roll, but this was as close as I've come so far.

Boxes were excellent this week as well. We searched twelve, four more than usual, but it sure paid off! Best box had 26 silvers, 4 x 90% and 22 x 40% (4.70 oz.) Another box had three Franklins and 8 x 40% for another 2.27 oz. Six of the twelve were skunks, a little better than my average ratio.

Total on boxes for the week: 10 x 90% and 37 x 40% including six Frankins for a total of 9.09 oz.

Between the CWR and boxes we scored 21 x 90% and 39 x 40% including twelve Franklins and five Walkers for a total of 13.36 oz. Talk about a silver vein! We're now a mere 2 oz. from 100 oz. on the year. Enjoy the pics!

Damn! You still have plenty of time to reach and break on past that 100 ozt. mark for the year.

I'm just over 80 ozt. for this year, about 5 ozt. more than I was at this time last year. Hopefully I can hit a good silver vein and break through that 100 ozt. mark as well.

Thanks guys, I'm sure it will be a long while before we have another week like that!

This week was more modest but still successful and above average.

Eight boxes this week yielded 6 x 90% and 10 x 40% with one Franklin. The best box had four of each and we ended up with four skunks, 50%.

Also picked up $70 in CWR this morning and found 5 x 40% in one of them  Total for the week comes in at 6 x 90% and 15 x 40% for a total of 4.39oz.

September was our best month of all time for boxes, really amazing numbers. Out of 38 boxes, September weighs in at 118 silvers: 28 x 90% and 90 x 40% including ten Franklins and three Walkers for a total of 23.44oz! This doesn't include another 4+ ounces from a great Franklin/Walker CWR. Only 15/38 were skunks.

For anyone following my log this year, you'll know that this means we smashed through 100oz this week!! :3coins: It took us 274 boxes, 789 CWR, $621 in loose, and a few reject chute finds to accumulate it all.

At this pace, I'll set our new end-of-year goal at 134oz to keep pace with how we've done on average so far. Good luck everyone!

Fantastic! Congrats on surpassing your goal! Not a bad week at all, glad to hear that things are still looking good!
Good luck next week

Had another good week of hunting, only skunked on one out of eight. Best box had 4 x 90% and 2 x 40%. Totals came to 8 x 90% and 17 x 40% including two Franklins, 1961 and 1952-D for a total of 5.41 ounces, a productive week!

We also passed the 500 silver milestone this past week as well. After this week our total stands at 523 silvers between boxes, CWR and loose.

Good luck all!

Another good week even though we only searched six of our usual eight. Ended with three x 90% and 26 x 40% including a 1976-S silver proof

We had one box with 11 silvers and one with 8. A robust week from just six boxes! Got ten coming this week to make up for last weeks missing ones.

We also surpassed $150,000 searched this past week. Happy hunting!
