A huge mysterious door-like structure was discovered in the Hayu Marca mountain region of Southern Peru. Hayu Marca, 35 kilometres from the city of Puno has long been revered by local indians as the "City of the Gods", and has never been fully explored because of the rugged mountain terrain. Although no actual city has ever been discovered, many of the rock formations of the region resemble buildings and artificial structures. The door, or the "Puerta de Hayu Marca" (Gate of the gods/spirits) has been at some time in the distant past carved out of a natural rock face and in all measures exactly seven meters in height by seven meters in width with a smaller alcove in the center at the base, which measures in at just under two meters in height.

Jose Luis Delgado Mamani stumbled across the structure while trekking through the surrounding foothills trying to familiarize himself with the area as his job is as a guide for mountaineering tourists. "When I saw the structure for the first time, I almost passed out. I have dreamed of such a construction repeatedly over the years, but in the dream the path to the door was paved with pink marble, and with pink marble statues lining either side of the path. In the dream, I also saw that the smaller door was open and there was a brilliant blue light coming from what looked like a shimmering tunnel. I have commented to my family many times about these dreams, and so when I finally gazed upon the doorway, it was like a revelation from God... How do you make order of such a strange occurrence?"

After discovering the door , Mamani contacted archeological authorities in Puno, La Paz and Lima, and within a short time the area was besieged with archeologists and Inca historians. It turned out that the native indians of the region had a legend that spoke of "A gateway to the lands of the gods", and in that legend it was said that in times long past, great heroes had gone to join their gods and passed through the gate for a glorious new life of immortality, and on rare occasions those men returned for a short time with their gods to "inspect all the lands in the kingdom" through the gate.
Another legend tells of the time when the Spanish Conquistadors arrived in Peru, and looted gold and precious stones from the Inca tribes - and one Incan priest of the temple of the seven rays named Aramu Maru fled from his temple with a sacred golden disk known as "The key of the gods of the seven rays", and hid in the mountains of Hayu Marca. He eventually came upon the doorway which was being watched by shamen priests. He showed them the key of the gods and a ritual was performed with the conclusion of a magical occurrence initiated by the golden disk which opened the portal, and according to the legend blue light did emanate from a tunnel inside. The priest Aramu Maru handed the golden disk to the shamen and then passed through the portal "never to be seen again".

Archeologists have observed a small hand sized circular depression on the right hand side of the small entranceway, and have theorized that this is where a small disk could be placed and held by the rock. According to some individuals who have laid their hands on the small door, a feeling of energy flowing has been commented on, as well as strange experiences such as visions of stars, columns of fire and the sounds of unusual rhythmic music.

Others have said that they have perceived tunnels on the interior of the structure, though nobody as yet has found a gap that would illustrate the door opening, on the contrary the professional opinion is that there is no actual door, for the frame and the entranceway and the back of the alcove are all carved from the same rock.

It is interesting to note that the structure undeniably resembles the Gate of the Sun at Tiahuanaco and five other archeological sites which link together by grid lines intersecting each other exactly at the point where the plateau and Lake Titicaca is located. News reports from the region tell of sizable UFO activity in all of these areas, especially at Lake Titicaca. Most of the reports describe glowing blue spheres and bright white disk shaped objects. The afore mentioned legend concludes with a prophecy that the door of the gods will one day open "many times bigger than it actually is..." and allow the gods to return in their "sun ships"

TY, marticus. That explains & confirms ESOTERIC info, that I know/believe. It is a SPIRITUAL Star-Gate (NON-PHYSICAL) that opens up to the World of LIGHT (as in AFTER-LIFE... death of the physical body/brain). We are SPIRIT BEINGS having HUMAN EXPERIENCES... Hmm, we KNOW these remains are lying off the coast of Spain? How do we KNOW that is the correct location, especially when you can walk around on the island described by Plato with no need of scuba gear? Thanks in advance;

Plato got his discription from a writer 200 years prior to plato himself. Cant remember his name though. May be arostoties or something. He wrote the very first accounts.
There is also talk about the atlantians fighting with the egyptions. But at this time there is no evidence of this in egypt so far. Nor is there at any other the other sites some archeologists claim. Like some sites around the greek islands. They also claim atlantis may have been manowan. I thinks thats bs personally for the reasons none of them match the discriptions except for oh they where done over by a volcano.
Another man beleives silves another likly spot.
Another man Graeham hancock proposed a good theory. That altantis existed prior to the last ice age roughly 10 500 yrs ago. He had also matched the the great pyramid possibly being built that time also using astrology.
Could add credence to how atlantis sank. The ice melting raising the sea levels dramaticly. Could put it deeper then people have been looking.

Ah my friend Marticus, you forget that ATLANTIS WAS DESTROYED IN A DAY ANND NIgHT, THUS ELIMINATING ANY EFECTS from the ice age.

This is true. That is what the discriptions say. But we have to then ask. What caused all the ice to melt to give us the land area we have today. What triggered the drastic change.
Perhaps that answer is the same answer to the destruction of atlantis.
Meteor. Quake. Volcano.
You have to ask the questions it makes it that much more interesting. Like a giant brainstorm.

COULD is not the same as DONE. Your site as proposed is certainly interesting enough, yet so far we have seen nothing to suggest that it was above sea level circa 10,000 BC. On the other hand, if you re-read Plato's description of the island itself, it is clear that he is describing an island that he knows, and is probably still existing in his own time (429-328 BC) so is very likely still existing today. It could be that only the capital city itself, is what sank below sea level in the disaster.

Oro, you your self provided proof that the area between Atlantis and the mainland was above sea level before the ice age. Atlantis was a group of islands formed around the rim of a gigantic Caldera, more or less where it should be,according to his definition.and one for Beth

If you are referring to the Ice age map, which shows the European mainland extending farther into the sea than today, along with the intriguing island of Spartel, which as an aside there are several other, MUCH smaller islands in the same general region, then I fail to see how this provides any support to your site, which is MUCH farther out to sea, over 100 miles (at least) away from the nearest land mass as proposed in the ice age map. Do you know of any evidence to support the theory of your 'caldera' having been above sea level? Thanks in advance.

Marticus, the elliptical polar axis did that. Yur erosion pictures of the adjoining land masses of Atlantis and Spain etc. did that plus the evidence that it was forested.

Perhaps it could have been an earth quake which maybe triggered a volcanic eruption.
Causeing the land to rise and sink.
Like New Zealand last week sea floor rose 2.5m out of the surf

Are all the same place that existed before the last ice age. To which the stories come from their survivors
