Wow, that coin is beautiful. Great find.

Fabulous! Amazing! Awesome! Incredible! Outstanding! Need I say more. That is one find that anyone would be sitting on cloud 9 after digging. Banner ALL the way.

That coin is in great shape!!! Heck of a nice find. Congratulations.

That coin certanly did not see alot of circulation before it was dropped. That is in outstanding shape. I recently dug a 1829 busted capped dime which did see a lot of circulation and as happy as I was finding it I only wish it was in as nice of condition as your quarter. Outstanding find. Congrats on the once in a life time find.

oh man, that's outstanding. congrats!

beautiful find and one that probably 99.9% of us hunters will never get!

A suggestion for future posts is post a headline that actually states what you found. I see too many posts on facebook these days that are just "what a day" and it doesn't tell us anything. Imagine the response if you put "HIGH GRADE 1828 CAPPED BUST QUARTER!" instead of "I found a quarter today"

Congrats. You don't see a Capped Bust Quarter posted very often, and the condition on that coin is outstanding. I'd ask around about the merits of having it slabbed. :evil5: I've found that it's not worth the trouble. Regardless of a coin's condition, it seems as though most (if not all) slab companies will only award a details grade on any coin that's suspected of being a dug specimen, i.e., a coin with the slightest appearance of uneven toning. No matter - that's an awesome coin recovery. :notworthy: You don't need a third party grading service to know that!

Cool find! Did you already know what it was when you started filming? I could understand redoing it for the video. I would be losing my mind finding something that old!!

Seem like the metal detector company would want to buy your video to use to sell more detectors!!
One hell of a find, a keeper for sure. Then you can sell it in an emergency. A coin like that will never go down in value, Imo

Certainly the best one I have seen outside of my books.

Wow, that's a beautiful coin. Rare and in wonderful condition too. Congratulations.

WAYNOS , DIGGING AND FINDING LIKE A BOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DANG NICE QUARTER FIND......

The only reason I didn't freak out is I thought it was a common silver coin.
However when my friends came across the field and told me I was speechless

Thanks everyone!!!
It is so cool I'm not sure if I would sell it lol
