A GUIDE TO VAULT TREASURE HUNTING (Condensed)

Yeah, anytime should be good now, with a higher potential tomorrow morning thru saturday morning. I'd do it tonight and tomorrow morning, Friday night and Saturday morning if I was looking for my first auras up north, or any where really. 3pm-5:45pm yesterday there was any thing happening yet. Sometimes the predictions are off a little, becuase the speed the plasma cloud travels can vary a little.

I have seen one like this before, but if the window was rolled up it could be a reflection, Quinoa I think you might be interested in this one.

I tell my friend that the flash of the cell phone was off, what I see in the photo is that there is a little cloud and there is no reflection of the sun

Big solar storm started about what looks like about 5pm pst today (I get my calcs mixed up sometimes but that's like -7 UTC time or 24:00 or 00:00 utc). Large K index of 8, storm upgraded to g4 ("severe" but there's grades above) . I actually haven't seen it this high before, close, but not quite. I think it will go a bit a higher, still waiting on the CME following that huge X9.3 flare of yesterday unless this is it already. Three more medium/large flares and another medium sized CME happened today, not sure if was directed towards us, but should be some good stuff up ahead for photoing, providing tomorrow's hit doesn't wipe your electronic equipment if you have it turned on..haha. Anything that needs plugged in to an outlet though should be fine because the power grid would blow first.

If it gets really big, you may see northern lights from Arizona early morning before sunup or tomorrow night. Tonight alone, they are predicting seeing them all the way down to northern cali and alabama which is pretty cool. I wouldn't use an expensive metal detector tomorrow or Saturday( someone else can pass that on , I don't want to sound like a doomsayer). But the chances are low that it will have any of those type effects.

So anyways, you've had some time to prepare up in the Northern US by the info put out on this thread months ago by Sandy1 for auras, so get out there and see what happens. It's your best chance you will get in a long time , I guarantee that. All my largest and best auras were caught on these type of days, and it's the only ones I go out on anymore, although I have never went out on anything of this magnitude or what should be coming tommorrow. Should be interesting. It figures I'm smoked in by forest fires.

DSCN1912.JPGDSCN1913.JPGDSCN1914.JPGDSCN1915.JPG Sandy, I've found a small triangle, totaling 14ft. The biggest corner has a notch pointing to a large rock with a notch or lobes. The triangle was 50 ft. to the right of the white rock in my last post. Is this the type to find? Thanks Rocky

The best I could say Rocky is this, if that were out here I wouldn't even look at it twice, The markers out here especially the triangles are very easy to spot as that is what they are made for to lead you to something more important so they are very highly visible.

But in my area there are so many rocks you couldn't pick those three out of any other three.

I also agree, I can't see anything helpful from those pics.

Rocky I have a suggestion, look for a single marker something that really stands out in the area. An A-Frame, Shaft sign, Heart, turtle etc.

Here is a test:

The location I am taking this picture from is an aura spot.

Now, I am placing you in my shoes just like when I went to this aura and looked for these same markers.

There are three important Sentinel Markers in this picture, you Will need to download and zoom in to see at least one of these markers as it blends in. Make sure to make the picture large by clicking it several times before downloading.

The Cme from the X9.3 hit at about 5pm pst sept 7 , when I just posted a couple posts ago, so that's as much as it gets. I mentioned it could be the X flare CME arriving early causing the g4 storming and apparently it was. Still good stuff to go out and get auras for next couple days. I 'd be out there too if there wasn't so much smoke.

With 2 different cameras I got 800 pictures yesterday but no aura. I had sunshine most of the day but the clouds would come by for a few minutes at a time. Most pictures were after 1 PM central standard time. Not giving up. Anyone else care to elaborate? AND thanks Sandy for the test picture.
That is a great idea for learning as it helps to teach others how to spot what is important to look for.

Sandy1 - Is that lone red rock that's casting a pointing shadow in the forefront a marker?

Thoughts about what I have on sites that I have seen, Triangles, Rectangles, Squares, one of the corners will show a direction away from the area and the total measurement on all sides will give you the distance to two other symbols, then using the pattern on the 1st set of the triangle ( square / rectangle ) to locate the unseen corner and there you will probably find a OLD HAND DUG Hole, or that was my experience anyway. Hope you have different results, Its easy to try anyway
