I love the photos. Although you (Kirk) paint a vivid picture in my head (mind) with your descriptive narration already. Now you can really embellish the datecting experiences even more.

I pictured the abandoned digger in a darker more menacing place (like sleepy hollow with yella jackets) and the corn stalks were much taller in my mind (like Jack and the Beanstalk).

I like the photo of Paco. He looks like he's on vacation or something.

Can't wait to see the booty!

Dude, the pics are awesome. It is cool to get a "visual" of where you hunt and pull your relics and coins. I will start posting more of mine too. That meadow looks like the ticket BTW that is the shovel that cost you a few stings the other day right? When Paco went back and got it, were they all gone

I said, "It's Kirk from Tnet. Who else would make me laugh on the net this hard". . When I get up in the morning, I'm so excited to start hunting, I try to get out the door as soon as possible. I make my breakfast and lunch, take my battery off the charger, get in my car and go.

Great pics of your da -tecting areas. I would love to swing my SE out in that field....

Hmmmm...instead of being an RN, maybe I should be a comedian. I could stand on that stage and tell metal detecting jokes. Even if the audience weren't into datectin', I would still continue with my passion for telling metal detecting jokes. Maybe I would also add some of the forum humor into my act...such as the way some dudes get banned, or how some dudes take me too seriously...etc. Still, even if the babes or dudes in the audience don't chuckle, Kirk is a persistant dude, so he would continue with his act..."What's with threshold? If I wanted to hear an irritating buzz, I would listen to my babe complaining about me going datectin'." What's with discrimination? Maybe the foil should start asking for "Equality", huh?" Boooooo

Captn, if you ever make it to PA, look me up. We will all invite you to our GREAT sites. I would like to see you and your SE in action. It would be a good time and a great story to tell!

I would stick with the "grunting" while in the car...your Asian babe may get P.O. Just blame it on me, if she yells at you. lol

I hope to take some pics like these once we hit the Colonial tavern site soon. It will be a memorable time, if the farmer allows us to go back...he told us in July, "Come back in the fall."

Maybe you should perform those 3 rituals and tell me how they go...LOL.

I always love your post they are so colorful and Antarctic really motivates one to get out there and hunt. Speaking of which since I made the top 25, guess I better get my butt out there and get serious. I have been hunting but just haven't be finding anything really great to post.

DUDE....for someone who plans and thinks of everything, I can't believe you don't have a bee suit ready. LOL, I say take a flame thrower next time and just turn them into some crispy critters.

Kirk, Nice pictures (Maybe make them a little smaller next time) but I am starting to see a pattern here. Yep, seems like Mr "I love to show off my muscles" is a bit of a sissy!!
The other day you told me you were scared to get in the ocean so you just stand on the beach with your pink sand bucket & shovel while Grubby goes in for the wilver. And now you have to have a Real Man like Paco go get your shovel because your scared of some little old yellow jackets! Well we all know the truth now don't we?
By the way, was that the same shovel that came with your pink sand bucket??

Thanks for bringing a camera. It adds so much more to the posts. I think the pictures came out really well. As a matter of fact, I think I saw Mirage and Nate peeking through those woods.
Was that really the name (Freckles) on that tag?

Oh, and by the way, this quote cracked me up:
My last ritual consists of a "grunt and pump-up" session. I will spend about 5 or 10 minutes grunting like a tough metal datectorist...at the 10th minute, I hear zoy yell out in the background, "Enough already!" After those two words, I go on to the "pump-up" part.
I can just picture your brother trying to sleep and getting irritated with your goofing off. Classic.

Hmmmmm....it would probably be on Espn (Aye-essay-pay-n-aye) since metal detecting is a sport. I would be the host, too. LMAO I would love to add my twist of things to the series!
