Went detecting Wednesday and had a purdy good day. I decided to grid off one area and stay there! 
Can you believe I did that! 
Back and forth, following the tracks that the mower had made. Found two Rosie's! 52 & 56. Also found two reeds in the same hole...never found two at a time. Got a whistle, kiddie ring, an old buckle and another spoon :P and of course bullets. As the day wore on I was getting tired and should have quit, but I dug (chopped at) one more hole and ruined a perfectly good relic (the one to the left of the spoon). :P Then today Lisa and I went huntin with a plan of gridding. That flew right out the window after about an hour of finding nothing but clad! We ended up going to the back side of the property and hunting there the rest of the day. No great coins. I did get a couple of wheats, but my favorite find was the old key. Got a couple of what's it's if anyone knows.
