Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
A few hunts this week, picked up 1923 and 1945 Merc.'s, then a 1944 Rosie and 1944 Merc., and finally today 1930 Buffalo nickel, 1901 Indianhead and a 1898 Barber dime.. The Barber dime today, set a few personal goals for me..

The Barber was my 75th Barber coin Lifetime

The Barber was also my 700 th 90 % silver coin found in my Lifetime...

I have been detecting, for 28 years, but, some years, a lot more detecting than others.. As a NY country boy, we only get to detect about 8 months a year. I love the way detecting, relieves the stress of dealing with my wife's Alzheimer's. Happy Easter and Happy Hunting everyone..

Awesome hitting 700, I have a ways to go before I hit 700. Lol
Congrats!!

time machine, we have a lot in common then, where are you in NY ?? I'm in Youngsville, 10 miles from Liberty or 20 miles from Monticello... I'll be thinking of you also, every time I find a silver coin... Those silver's makes us smile, even if only for a short time... Good Luck to you too and God Bless.. Ray

Great achievement that you should be proud of....not easy dealing with a close family member with Alzheimer's be strong and keep swinging the coil to take your mind off your troubles.

Quite a milestone. I used to keep records of my finds but, gave up after maybe a year. I couldn't tell you how many of anything I have recovered coin wise unless it's very few. I do know what I haven't recovered : )

excellent finds for sure, dealing with a loved one who struggles to know who you are and forgets everything etc can really drag you and your own health down. it can easily become a full time job that controls your own life. congrats on the silver, ever wonder how many holes you have dug? mind boggling for us older guys and gals
