HEY GUYS AND GALS

This is the pictures from 2 hunts.....6 hrs total hunting.

Out this morning -9 and snowing ....only there for about 15 minutes and a iffy signal...lotsa hot rocks there.

Kicked away 2 of the rocks and signal was more crisp... out pops a coin...foud some water and washed it off to see Carolus on the back....eyes were watering so bad trying to see musta looked like I was crying.

Couldn,t believe it and in great shape besides....2 nd Spanish coin in less than 2 weeks....never seen one all last year !!!

Time i got done hunting you couldn,t see a rock ..everything was covered in 2 inches of snow but the detector seemed to be more sensitive than ever. Don,t really understand that....one day there is only a few targets...next day there is lotsa targets.

Missed this one until I seen IH's reply. If you're interested in having the reference material this is what I'd buy to cover the most bases for the least amount of money. Charlton Tokens, Charlton Canadian coins, Redbook, Krause World coins 1601-1700, 1701-1800, 1801-1900.

Nice--- ty for the info also..wil ask at local book store.

but best book i,ve found so far is.... "PM IP LIMITED EDITION"... great book and very very easy to use !!!

I've seen the Krause 1601-1700 as a free download, I've never installed it though. Has anyone ?

Not sure how easy that would be to navigate with so much info.... it's 2 3/4" thick.

That's exactly what I was thinking, not like "flippin" through pages, plus I'm always leary of "free" stuff on the web.

Would def. prefer a hard copy anyway. I will get me one of those 1601-1700 soon. Just noticed, my first one is 25 years old, no dog ears either.

Even an old copy would work because it's much better as a reference than a price guide. I use google way more than my books but I still like having them.

im ready to start melting snow with a blow torch
