HEY GUYS AND GALS

This is the pictures from 2 hunts.....6 hrs total hunting.

Out this morning -9 and snowing ....only there for about 15 minutes and a iffy signal...lotsa hot rocks there.

Kicked away 2 of the rocks and signal was more crisp... out pops a coin...foud some water and washed it off to see Carolus on the back....eyes were watering so bad trying to see musta looked like I was crying.

Couldn,t believe it and in great shape besides....2 nd Spanish coin in less than 2 weeks....never seen one all last year !!!

Time i got done hunting you couldn,t see a rock ..everything was covered in 2 inches of snow but the detector seemed to be more sensitive than ever. Don,t really understand that....one day there is only a few targets...next day there is lotsa targets.

Great job buddy! That does it I'm gonna buy a water machine. With all this coast line so close to my house I need to take advantage of it. It's killing me seeing all of this old silver showing up and I'm stuck with snow and frozen ground. Keep it up man

Yes--you should... I didn,t go on the shore last year because my F75 is just too noisy...no patience for the noise.

My cousin goes with me a fair bit,,he using the F75...he only finds 1/4 of the stuff I do....it is his first year which makes a big difference... but I have used my F75 also in the same spots...and I come up short on finds everytime...the noise causes you to miss so many targets.

And then you get to hit in the winter months...keeps the shackwhacky away ..lol.. ty for looking.

You're on a nice little roll Aqua. Love that silver - she cleaned up nice.

TY BILL..

Yes it did,,,...I only used a lil bit of soap and toothbrush very lightly....the saltwater and mud turns the silver coins black--but some always comes off.

Hi Aqua; Sweet find. Clad your getting out. Boston is stone cold literally. PEACE:RONB

Same here..the long range is giving crap for days...seems like it is never gonna end.

Cape cod area should be a great place on the shore for detecting.

Killer saves Buddy, hope there something left in the ground when I get back.:tongue3:
ZDD

LOL..I,ll save ya a couple...might just be rusty nails tho.

The Spanish I got last week I found only about 100 feet to the east from where you were digging when we left to go over to back of town.

Just never know where something nice is gonna show up....maybe the ground will be all thawed when you get back !!!!

Have a great vacation !!!

Don't worry the ground will have some goodies left.

Awesome find man! My Spanish silvers are without a doubt my favorite relics.

ya..they sure are nice looking coins....

RICK NovaScotia showed me his Spanish coins...dug on land... absolutely beautiful.

Can,t wait to find one on land all shiny...I might be part crow .:tongue3:

I posted my 1st Spanish on here last week...was a holed one...and very poor shape also.

Seems crazy to find my 2nd one just a week later... never know when or where.

Very nice coin Aqua. I don't know how you guys deal with that cold???

TY

No where near as bad here on the east coast---on the water --as it is in central and north Canada.

-9 celsius is not terrible cold..dress for it and keeep moving and it is much better than sweltering heat.

QUESTION

What is the value of a 1/2 reale in comparison to say British 1 penny from the same time period ?

Would it be equal to 1 British penny ?

Only way to learn is to ask !!!!!

Hey Aqua, I went shopping and found you a present.... an Avatar! :happysmiley:

The Spanish trade routes did come up threw the lower US... but only for a ways... not sure how far in relation to Denver but think it was quite a bit south of you. . Still learning my history.

Never know where stuff ends up !!
