I got out to one of my hunting spots today and pounded it for 8 hrs.
I got the 1905 Indian Head Cent first and then the 1918-s Standing Liberty Quarter
that was on my wish list. Yes it's my first Standing Liberty and not to bad if I may say
so myself.
I also got a big button and some other things.

Thanks dfx willy.

I just talked to a Heritage representative and he said it's definitely a $3,000. coin
and could even go into the $4,000. to $5,000. range. I'm glad to hear that and was
hoping he would say more but I'll get around to sending it in to get slabbed than I will
know what it's going to bring. I was told to send it to NGC/NCS and gave me some local
places to take it to. Good luck to all of you and hope you too find a rare and valuable coin.
Roger

Before you ask them to send it off ask if what the chances are it might come back body bagged (ungraded). I have a 1916 SLQ that I was going to send to PCGS that turned out to be cleaned, and the shop I go to said don't, that they and NGC would bag it and I would be wasting my money. They suggested I send it to ANACS, as they would grade a cleaned coin. I know your is not cleaned, but coming of the dirt might cause some issues. If they say that PCGS or NGC would body bag it, then send it to ANACS (they are the third of the top tier third party graders). They will grade and slab it, and you will get a pretty accurate grade on it.
