💥1909-S VDB💥 Today's finds

So I went back to a church (1880-90's) I have hit about five or six times and came up with absolutely nothing every time not even much clad so today I went out after my girlfriend got home for a few hours before dark and found this! Looking it up now not quite sure if this is a key date or just the 1909-s. Any way cool old wheaty!

This was my only find there it's definitely tough pickings there!

That is just crazy man. Defiantly one sought after coin. Vdb are initials of the designer on the bottom of the backside which ended up being removed, and San Francisco mint being a low mintage. You have been on a roll lately! Grats on the rare coin!

Thanks Truth1253 I didn't even realize what I had at first! I get the different variations confused, once I realized what I got when I got home my jaw dropped! Yeah it's not in to bad of shape! HH

Stone I look all the time at auctions to buy a 1909-S VDB in good shape for $600 and I'm still looking because it ain't out there. You my friend found one swinging!!! Unbelievable Congratulations on a awesome find!! You have done what when we find a wheatie we don't even pray for anymore, because it's almost impossible and you did it. Lol I'm so happy for you. So you didn't even know what you had till you got home?
