Found this ring yesterday approx a feet in the ground in my yard. What is is gold? Platinum? Steel?
The ring has a sort og yellow tint to it, but not like yellow gold as my 14k wedding ring. Just a hint of yellow. The inner ring has a more steel like coloring. Picture of the stamp attached is the only stamping inside the ring.

Is it worth anything? 56210ACE-9B42-411C-9EAE-6721153E169B.jpeg 58D0A1C8-661F-4766-BFCF-495321616A30.jpg image.jpg

Welcome to Tnet from Toronto Palfy! :hello:
I'm no expert on gold marks, but it looks like you may have an 18K Platinum ring there. :icon_scratch:

I would say it's an 18k white gold ring with a platinum center band. Nice find! :icon_thumleft: Welcome to Tnet!

This is my first post. I'm in the jewelry business. That is a men's wedding band made in 18k gold and platinum. The manufacturer is Frederic Goldman. It's a modern ring made within the last few decades.

Welcome back.

Quality ring in a contemporary design that won't date. You'll do better selling it as such privately (IF you can find a buyer) rather than accepting what a jeweller would offer or taking its scrap value.

There's an identical pre-owned one on Etsy at the moment with a 'Buy It Now' of $600 (or make an offer) to give you some idea.
