Ahh managed to get a quick swing in last night after work! We went to the field close to the village which we have hunted before, but due to the rain there is a patch that didnt grow 😆

Himself found this cross… then a thimble and square piece (?) bug buckle, parts of buckles, 2spoon handles, livery button (Ram) 2 patterned lead buttons, button with an eye (?) more buttons, and my silver Victoria… so for a short hunt, quite the result 😆 xx.

Well done for a short evening hunt.

What does the other side of the eye looking one look like?
I see a letter or 2 on the left hand side.

Another silver for the season never hurts.

Your square thingy might just be a hem weight. The bare ground could just be an area where the seeder ran out of seeds and the farmer failed to check.

Is the Victoria silver a shilling? Can you see the date? I'd love to find one of those over here! My only Victoria silver finds are Canadian 5 cents (often called "fish scales" they are so small).
