Summary - F Yeah!!!!
2016 Goal - 125oz I got lucky with all the solid rolls toward the end of this year. Just not realistic that I'll stumble across that again. I do think i'll find some more collection dumps, and hopefully my boxes produce better in 2016. HH!
I did purchase 3 rolls of nickels from a local auction house online. From an estate, supposedly unsearched... They were! One was a solid roll of buffs and the other two had 14 war nickels.
The buffalo roll had a key date 1913d type 2!!! Great find for only spending $12

Hit it hard this week and minimal luck. I purposely bought $880 of a hunters dump at my pickup bank, so the cwr results are a little better than posted.
I did find a 2005 clipped planchet. Worth more than the silver. HH
Great breakdown of where you found your silver. I will have to look at my totals and see what was the most profitable approach. Thanks for sharing. All the best in 2016.
Jan was definitely a quick reminder of how quickly luck can change. No 90% halves, and a A roll of 40%ers. Greatful for what I did find tho. Here's to a better February.
I went on a mini road trip south about 20 miles and picked up everything I could. A credit union I'd never been to had $820 in halves. The tellers said they can't ship out until $1k and they'd been sitting there a while. This is where 95% of the haul came from. Nice hit to start the month after a slow January.
Nice haul. I would like to do more road trips but the wife and I work Monday through Friday and Saturday doesn't seem to be a good day to go bank hopping.
Moleman - If you ever take a quick weekend getaway by car, this is a great way to hunt out of your area. Every year my fam heads to the ocean on Valentine's Day weekend. It's about an hour 1/2 trip and also out of the normal distribution district of the courriers in my area. I usually order a box or two and call ahead to pick up.
For me, I am self employed and works takes me on 20 -50 miles trips often. I try and hit up banks along the way. This makes it much easier for me of course.
Saturday's can be great, just call ahead of time to see if banks you want to hit up on a quick road trip are open and if they have any coin your searching for. Head out early to that town and grab some breakfast at a small mom and pop joint while you wait for the banks to open maybe a Bloody Mary or two

Road trip to the ocean - tried to order a box from a bank I hit up every year there... But they had $600 in cwr so grabbed those instead... Skunk. But got a nice box this week and hope the luck continues. HH!
Found a merc for what feels like forever! Also the 2nd half box is back to a serial # that has produced better silver numbers in the past. Not sure if it will continue but hope here's to hoping it does.
Also found a half marked by Omega from Cali. I'm in WA so it's traveled a bit
The 11 silvers this week came from 2 rolls - 10 in one. I hit up a few areas I hadn't been to before and picked up a lot of dumps. Lots of marked coin... But in the mix was a very good hit. Kept the week from being a skunk. Pic to come later.

Been a busy few weeks, able to find a little here and there. Dealing with dump issues. I dump in $500 coin bags and count to be sure of accuracy. The coins are shipped to be counted and then my account gets credited...but lately is bee anywhere from $5 to $15 short per thousand. Pretty frustrating.
Fun find for the week.... A quarter in a dime roll.... Impossible you say.... Take a look
