XP Deus----It's the real deal.

I was one of the guys posting below in the thread where someone asked if they should buy a safari or a deus. Well, for all the guys who come to this thread looking for advice on what machine to buy, I'm here to tell you, the Deus is for real. I never thought that it's capabilities would live up to the hype, but this machine picks stuff out of the iron like you wouldn't believe. I searched an old home foundation across from Folsom Prison which was loaded with old, big iron and had a ton of weeds. Enough so that the coil was 3 or 4 inches above the ground. From that mess, I found a 1946 silver dime in perfect condition 7 inches down. That coin had many, many fragments of iron around it. I find coins buried down 9 or 10 inches and never found a single coin down that far with other machines i have used...and those other machines were not cheap. Right around the middle of other manufacturers ranges, about 600-900 dollar machines. So, needless to say, the Deus is the best machine I have ever used. This is just one man's opinion, so don't start any static with me if you feel offended or if I chapped your hide. There's too many sensitive types on this board sometimes. I'm not trying to rip on any other brands out there. I'm just providing a public service by saying the Deus rig is for real. So there ya' go. Thanks.

yep,im with ya buddy.got my deus and right out of the box tried it in the back yard where ive pounded with three other top machines and in 5 minutes found 58 cents that should have been found but to much trash.waiting for the ground to thaw and warm up,but very excited about using the deus this year.definately the real deal

Shhhh... don't tell everyone, it will put Minelabs out of business...

You beat me to the "Shhh...." I actually wish they'd discontinue this detector! (after the update and coil comes out)

I agree 100% with discontinuing the product! If any more of the local slobs get these machines, I don't know what I am going to do!

Best of luck to you brother.

This slob will have one eventually! Maybe I'll buy Tedyoh's Deus one day!

I just ordered one I love my at gold and will never part with it but been looking at the deus for a while and just pulled the trigger on one today. Thanks Wayne at Metaldetectingstuff who once again took care of me. Can't wait to try it in the fields the at pro and gold along with the 350 have pounded. The gold did great in these fields so I'm hoping the deus can sniff out some more goodies. Good luck all.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news... however, your AT Gold better get ready to start catching dust!

I loved my AT Pro, but once I got that Deus in my hand... it was all over...

Wireless and ultra light... Just remember that you heard it here first. Get ready, it's going to be really good!

And don't forget to take the batteries out! Sitting for 5 years unused, they could leak.

Lol I hope you are correct. I love the at gold and it loves the old coppers. It will still be used in the rivers but can't wait to get the deus out in the field and pick through that tough iron in these old sites.

In Europe with almost 4000 years of iron history... Minelab is already out of business: they just closed their euro office.

You chapped my hide. But in a good way...

After the last few months, we are still using only one program and have darn good results. I really need to start changing things up and see what else we can find!!! I had the smaller coil first then bought the 11 inch. What a difference!!!!!! This thing is awesome. I have found so many darn silver dimes its crazy!!!!! :laughing9: I can't wait to go out to my wife's families place in New Jersey this summer!!!!! My E-Trac found me some nice stuff but lots of iron. I'm thinking this baby is going to get the good stuff next time!!!!

What's interesting is the xp deus actually sells for a little more in France than here.
It's about time the French got into the detector market seriously, they invented the thing.

i think they are doing a little more then get into the market.... the XP Deus is probably the most advance, versatile and ergonomic machine available on the market today.

I see prices for this machine going from 800 to 1500 and more for a new model on E-bay. Are their different models of this machine or are these prices reflecting bundled packages?

The first price represent the basic but 100% usable package. You can add the remote control for more funtionalities and control and you can always choose the headphone of your choice.

You can add coils and in the futur a wireless Pinpointer (end of Q2 2016).

Prefer to buy it from an official distributor and why not a TNET sponsor?

Enjoy

Chances are 99% that i will buy from a sponsor here. I am sure i will get a better deal. But E-bay is a great source for research and finding out what packages are available and what the MAP prices are.
Thank you for the info on the XP.
