WW Button?

Found two piece button with back mark "Edmund Eisner Red Bank N.J." I'm thinking WW 1 or 2 Era? Diameter is 23mm. Any help with Id or resource is appreciated!

Sigmund I believe. They were in business 1859-1925, so WWI is quite likely... Supported by the black finish which I think I see remaining.

WW1, that button was on military cap. Has the ring

That is the second one I found with a ring. I didn't know the ring was significant. Do you have a photo of what it would have looked like on the cap?

Some of the jackets had the split ring as well. At the bottom of this link you can see them on a Marine Corps jacket, but as they mention, the Army ones did as well.; WW1 Marine thread
