My Ace 250 finally got here. Got out this afternoon for about an hour to try to learn this hobby.
What luck! I found this ring. What a beaut, eh! And this indian peace pipe. At least I'm sure that's what it is.
Oh, and 40 cents in clad.

looks like big cheif smokem dopes pipe. ugh---watch for the crack heads ---their mean the crack makes them that way ---the pot heads are generally harmless for the most part but still might swipe stuff out of your car to support their habit---so keep a close eye on your car and a large sharp digger handy just in case. ---good advice---Ivan

LOL, ALL metal detectorists dig up oodles of pulltabs, bottle caps, and misc. crapola. That's just a part of the price we pay for finding the good stuff. Sort of keeps us humble - well, almost humble. Don't be embarassed about digging up junk and don't be afraid to ask questions because at one time or another we've all asked the same questions and we've all dug plenty of trash. That's what makes each of us part of the bigger group - the sisterhood (or brotherhood) of treasure hunters.
