Last week I hit a soccer field I hadn't hunted in five years and came away with $5.53 in clad and a sterling silver cross and chain. There are four fields in this particular spot complex and today I went back to hunt field #2. I spent two hours hunting and dug clad coins worth $7.96. Most were fairly shallow, between two and three inches deep. The best find of the day was a coin spill worth $1.83..............3 zincs, 1 nickel, and 7 quarters.

Great Ceaser's Ghost? You remind me of Perry White the editor in chief of the Daily Planet in the old Superman TV show. Anyway, thanks for the compliment. I coubt the IRS wants my measly $7.96 but if they do, I'll write of more than enough to actually get me a refund.....cost of gas to hunt site and back, cost of equipment, depreciation of that same equipment, etc. etc. :laughing7:
