What's the actual defination of "clad" and "seated" ? I'm guessing (not assuming :D) it's a coin-refference?

CLAD
If your Lincoln Memorial penny has a date before 1982, it is made of 95% copper. If the date is 1983 or later, it is made of 97.5% zinc, with a thin copper coating, or "clad."
Our dimes and quarters after 1964, halves, and dollars are also clad. They are made of copper with a thin nickel coating or "clad." Look at the coins from the edge and you can see the layers. Clad is Crap.
