[FONT="]This old style nailing that was originally used to make safes with wide metal strapping and big headed nails called "hobnails. It was used for "Lock boxes" along with Horseshoes...today it is used for boots. It was a wrought iron nail with a large head with the nail part bent over and clipped as shown on the inside of your box.
