I was itching to get out ! I had a site a bit out of town I wanted to hit . The thunderstorms scattered about our area convinced me to stay closer to home and hit a wooded park I have hunted before ! Though the signals were not abundent and I covered a lot of ground , I made a few good finds ! I found the Ring first and Knew right away it was plated ! It rang high like in th 80% silver coin range . I thought I was clearing a screwcap . It turned out to be marked 14 K G P As I suspected , But still a nice looking ring ! Then I stumbled on a two coin Indian spill with both the 1862 Fatty that is cleaning up nicely and another I do not believe I will get a date from ! I staid in that surrounding area for the next hour and a half and turned up two 19th century buttons and the 1856 Seated Dime ! The dime was down about 9 inches in some soft loamy soil ! It looks Like it did not see a lot of circulation ! I must admit I did the happy dance ! LOL MaineRelic !
