today could be a day to go out Tweeta...blue sky sunshine in Denver! Gotta do somethin' before the big game right?
 

I have to clean my gold room up.
I just panned 3 pretty good sized chunks out of a random container with >20 mesh.... wtf I know there is fly poop in my blue bowl eject bucket but >20's should be in the vial not laying around in some random coffee can!
 

the sun is out yes but its still cold as hatties... am not much of a football fan. if it was nice enuff outside id rather be in the water vs watching the big game. i think i was a lizard in a previous life, like to sun on the rocks.

with ya on this...I think I'm careful, organized and run a clean shop but still, every time I wipe down my work table, etc I end up with gold. It's everywhere!!

man up! Seriously I don't watch sports on TV really at all so I'm with ya there. It is cold now but in a few hours I'm going to hit a local creek at least for a little while...the itch is too strong to ignore :)

Edit: didn't get out Sunday but made up for it today (Monday 2/3) with two outings!

here is my take for a few hour in the middle of winter... no mother lode but at least i didnt get skunked. im like a prize fighter with my bazooka, im like 35-0... hell im doing better then the broncos!

Looks like your spot on Clear Creek. I think you need to do an organized sampling program and track where the gold is so you can find the pay streak(s) in that area.

Nice rock work there to guide the stream too :)

its actually ralston creek under 56th, maybe after it thaws out. its right down creek from some work going on to build the bridge for the lite rail i think. if you notice in the one photo there are some concrete columns... on the other side is nothing but cobbles like what you see next to the creek and its about 15' wide and about 2 1/2 to 3' about the rocks on this side.
 

i was just sitn here looking at my vial of gold and can barely see some pieces that make fly poop look huge!

well its been a couple weeks, tomorrow its suppose to get into the 60's. im itchin to go so im gonna try to clean out the platte tomorrow!
 

Are you in the Denver area? You are making me want to break out the old sluice and hit my spot here on the animas in nm, or maybe durango co.. The bug is biting again with all this warm weather.

I've been working on my BGT mod, I've gotten all the parts together, need to head over to my good friends house for some welding action. I'll post pics of the setup when I'm done.
