Wow- danimal- thats just plain weird but
not actually surprising. All the info We willingly
put on the internet and unknowingly is out
there makes it easy for the wrong type of
people to have access to it. Not saying this person
is right or wrong,strange or smart, but think about
all the info all of Us post on this forum about finds
that sometimes have a large monetary value!!
I too, think the Internet is a wonderful resource
but it is also a conduit for the less than good
intentions of some.
Keep that site a secret!! Don't give out your
main email to the public and be vague on locations.

I'd did a search last night on the forum looking for the number to Clevenger before I posted my message... I couldn't do a search as it took up too much bandwidth and I'd have to be a paying member... So with that said this bit of info narrows it down... Actually, you don’t need the internet to have weirdo’s stalk you, be near, around you, find you or whatever. They’re all around anyway. Someone could see you in a darn store and think, “Hummm, I think I like themmm and will stalk them…snivel, muuhhaaa!”, and then follow you where ever or do whatever.

I used to have a friend that worried about me being on the net and talking to many people on forums and in chat. This was when I had my antique store. I said to her, “I have total strangers come into my store all day, every day, what makes you think I’m in any less danger there?”.

Is anyone in any less danger anywhere in the whole world when out in public?

Like me for an example, I don’t mind saying what state I’m in, but I wouldn’t (for now anyway) say were I detect and I wouldn’t have anyone come with me (for now) either….lol…not till I’m sure I’ve done all that I can in this spot. (I’m new and greedy now…lol)

Why? Because I’d be too afraid that too many people detecting the area would make the landowners put a halt to it, thereby messing it up for myself.

Although, when I figure out that I can’t possibly hunt the whole area myself and just keep finding one good thing after another or find I’m not having as much fun as I could with someone who also enjoys detecting, I’d gladly tell a few someone’s who’d be fun to hunt and hang with.

But seriously secret spots are not such a bad thing. I hunt with two others but surly would not make the spots public knowlege, next thing you know I would go for a nice quiet hunt and there would be 10 seasoned and 15 newbies tearing the place appart...Just my 2 cents...

If she wants a hot spot, she can track this one down. I have reason to believe there is a large deposit of gold located in...well...let's just say I don't have the time or resources to get to it. And, I'm too far away. If she wants, here are the coords. At least this way, I won't get any emails that she's uncovered my SECRET LOCATION (there...capped and bold so she can spot it a little easier when she does her search)
