1st time out this season...luckily the ice on the lake was melted enough to swing my detector. 5 rings, stainless CTR Mormon ring, 2 tungsten bands, tiny aluminum band, and small thick silver band. Also a spider pendant, no chain. I need to find an older place, hate the tungsten rings that by rights should be gold :BangHead: Also got a handful of crusty change and the usual eyeglasses, pulltabs, bottlecaps, foil, and deeply buried aluminum cans. I totally get the feeling of being excited to see a ring just to find its something other than silver, gold or platinum. I don't post my find pics because so many of my finds are those. Last year I found 2 sterling and 9 stainless or tungsten rings. But will that make me quit the hobby. Hell no its the thrill of the hunt and not knowing what's under my coil till I dig it up that makes it fun plus the eye candy on populated beaches they make me keep detecting.

If tungsten, ever becomes worth anything.

I'll be sitting real pretty... ;D :laughing7:
