Maybe that an eternal riddle is left over this ring? :BangHead:

I see absolutely NO runes on the ring. :dontknow:
To me it rather looks like a "home made" ring.
The material is badly moulded and each of the stampings have deformed the surface of the ring if you look at the first pictures at the top of the post.
This fits very badly with the superior techniques of making rings and other juwelry of the Romans, the Kelts and the Vikings.

My conclusion would be a "homemade" (not professional) ring, most likely of modern origin.

The basis visibly crude and cast. One with 12 sides joined.
The signs on him mystic and incomprehensible for me.
I sent the pictures to a graphologist, I wait for his answer.

Thank you for your opinion.

I agree, the symbols are later, and certainly not Celtic or Saxon. But I do think this ring is infact ancient, like I said earlier, I'm going with Medieval.

In cw090's repost of the pictures to get a better look at the ring as a whole, the middle segement, top two images look like runes, but can be so many other things that it wouldn't matter.

If they were runes, I think the + sign is an "a", while the one above it was an "n". Have not looked at runes in a long time though, so might be off.

Truly is primitive in design, and make...maybe some reclusive, or or person in hidings time killer project?
