Got a Chinese knockoff brand off Amazon. Now I don’t know how to use it or where to even begin.

Hello all,

I recently found a druggist bottle while digging for artifacts in DC at one of my sites. I have no idea if its origin, I cannot seem to find the exact pharmacy or who may have ran it, despite putting its name into google and looking through sources. Is there anybody here who can identify the company, age, and person who was behind this bottle? It’s unfortunately broken at the bottom corner, but I still think it’s a nifty find so to speak.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It’s a real shame that there’s a chip on its corner it would have been a cool little DC medicine bottle.

Cool old bottle.

I didn’t check other dates but (guessing the bottle to be c.1900) I checked Boyd’s 1900 Directory of the District of Columbia. In the pharmacy section “O. Stafford & Co.” was listed at “The Portner, 15th c U nw”.
