No one can dowse a map, that is a crock..Come on people you don't really believe in any of that hocus pocus do you????What possible explanation could there be for such an activity.....Of course if this works, so does witchcraft, and voodoo, and wishing on stars..Tom

Not the same thing in My opinion.

Map Dowsing takes Psychic Abilities.
and although I would say 1 in 100 Map dowsers are Legit.
out of the Hundred that have located something on a Map,
1 May be able to do it Regularly.
Psychic Abilities Definately Exist. I have them, But can't
Turn them off & on. they just happen when they happen.

witchcraft, and voodoo,are Hocus Pocus.
But can also work if the Victim Thinks he dosn't Believe,
But Deep down Does. Because their inner mind will eat at them
every time something strange Happens.
it's called "Mind Control"

and wishing on stars, Definately Romantic Superstition.
and way to get Blonds to do what you want ;)

Deep down, they are all Blond at the Roots Jim.

You don't have to be right on. During remote viewing they consider a hit within 1/2 mile of the target. A downed plane was found this way. They could not see it from sat photos. After the viewers made the location, within 1/2 mile they found the plane stright down into the ground. It was standing up and is one reason they could not see it from above in a very wooded area. Times running out.

Oh so it is psychic abilities....1 out of 100 huh??? Well I bet some witches say the same thing..Only 1 out of 100 withches really have power..Only 1 out of 100 wishes on a star come true...BTW this blonde aint going for it....To each his own gentelman.......

Okay... I did the needle and thread thing... I started with a large map and woked towards to few smaller maps all from Google Earth.

I have NO CLUE ABOUT ANY OF THIS... in case you did'nt already get that. Having re-stated the obvious... and having no experience at all... I did what I did, and I'm sure it bears NO resemblance to any techniques used by folks who claim to be able to dowse maps.

Here is a picture of the place that felt, based on my needle deal... like something. I have no clue, no idea, and expectations... I's just figured I'd see what's up?

Do I have the Hocus Pokus? Hopefully he is found no matter where I choose to push this pin. I am not loosing sleep over this either way... I already spent enough time trying to dowse these maps.

See ya' in the funny pages...

Wish me luck Gallileo!!! (PS - I don't believe in luck)

And if this poor souls life depends on your self taught dowsing skills...

I'll expect to be seeing him in the obituaries... ;D

Copperhead!! LOL... How are you?

Now listen... I am open to many things... you are prolly right, but thank God that his life does NOT depend on anything I do... this is about me, not him.

What if?

At lease you did a dowse. I'm surprized that some of the map dowsers did not jump at this. Hey Jeff let's give it a shot!

So far they have found 8 crashed airplanes. They had been reported over the years but could not be located. Sure hope it doesn,t take them 20 years to find this one...Art

He went around the world twice! Once in a plane he built and another in a balloon! They have been looking for him for a week now. He was in a small plane. No flight plan.

I may be wrong, but I believe no one has done the balloon flight solo yet....stvn.

Lottsa folks talk talk talk about dowsing... then nobody shows up when a guy is missing?

I never post in dowsing forums... well, maybe once - but I really was expecting to see some participation here!

I don't know whether to belive or not... but posts like this sure help me lean towards... not.

I guess T-Netters can only dowse for other things... too bad for that dude.
Jim: The problem is NOT that there is nobody willing to help, but the problem is finding a local authority that will even ask for that help. I know of several that have been using dowsers for many years when they need answers on unsolved murders for instance. I am not at liberty to even say where these agencies are. Some pay $, some do not. It is a case by case type of deal. stvn.

I know for a fact TWO of these forms you mention DO work. History has priven that ridicule is the hallmark of ignorance. What happened to that guy that proclaimed the world was round when everyone KNEW it was flat? stvn.

Isn't this similar to looking for Elvis? I could be way off base here, but the lost plane routine is most commonly used by wealthy married old timers who finally realized the only way they were ever going to get enough is to ditch out to some enchanted island without a flight plan....... And yes folks; map dowsing is real and to my knowledge is powered by entities with foreknowledge. The art of a conjurer, not a circus act as some might think. I was personally involved with a party who had a map looked over by such an elderly gentleman from his kitchen table, and from several thousand miles away. He produced two lost Spanish gold mines, way out in the primitive area of Utah and they were spot on. He even told them the name of the old Mormon who had last worked them over 100 years before. He had never been to Utah in his life. He made a living at this for 10 percent of the take. He also held a file history of numerous other people with the exact same results on different continents around the world. Our ancestors would call it witch craft and surely that is how it got it's title "to witch." An old world example is the Peralta tablets; notice the witch at work, the one who located tons of bullion and used it to build some of the largest cattle ranches of the period. Just a thought for skeptics and missing pilots hanging out with the babes.
