whites TR66 goldmaster battery question

I came across an old white's TR66 goldmaster detector. what type of battery or batteries does it take?
It looks like maybe a 9 volt and maybe a battery pack of AA batteries. do you use both at same time or was it a either or .
Please give me a little help if you can.

I used to have one of those years ago. It used 14 AA batteries. Eight in one battery pack, and 6 in the other.

I have one. Don't forget the 9 volt battery connector, too. It's for the audio (earphone). FYI I bought mine when I was a kid in 1967. It was $356 then.
