Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. I bought the M6 3 weeks ago and even though I have not found anything but new coins, I am hooked on the hobby. Its good exercise. I also bought my son a prizm ll, it gets him away from the video games. One question I have is, I know the M6 is primarily a coin and jewelry detector. But can I still find relics with it? Like old belt buckles and horseshoes and buttons and such? I hate to sound uninformed to the subject but I am. I've been going out to a local park and the beach as often as I can, usually 1 or 2 times a week. Thanks for any advice anyone can give me on the M6.

Steve, absolutely can you find relics. Take the time to learn your machine and you will start finding them. I have a Classic ID which is a few steps down from yours. I have found old spoons, parts of cap guns, lantern wick holders, etc. All in my yard after searching it many times over. I kept changing the discrimination and sensitivity. Keep doing that and you will find more. I am still searching for silver and indian heads. Soon they will appear. Keep at it and welcome to the forum.
