White's Eclipse Deep Scan DD1400

Has anyone used this loop yet? So far I am undecided whether or not it goes deeper or not. I haven't found a coin with it yet. (I mean a old coin) Especially an old coin that is past 6 inches. Any help will be appreciated. Bobcat

I have used it I started with the coin program and took the pre amp to 3 and ac sen up till unstable and then back off a few numbers. also accept 0- +94 on the discrimination. I dug a pull tab at 10in with this set up in a field. I do not think this is a good coil for trashy areas though. Set the pre amp at 4 if you can get it to stay stable. Good luck.

still learning to pinpoint better with it but i enjoy using mine in areas such as outfields and we have at our fairgrounds a large open field parking area.One of my first finds with it was at 4 in.a 1900 barber dime on edge,i hunted the same area before and didn't pick it up.i got a strong visual on it with my MXT.It gives me a better crisp signal than my standard coil.I definitely agree it will drive you nuts in a high trash area!
