White`s Goldmaster GMT Problem.

This is because the gain is set to high for the ground that you are on at the moment. The ground Balance can only do so mush and the the gain must be turned down due to it picking up more minerals.

Hope this helps.

Hello all !

Sorry my bad language skills. I write with the help of the machine translation program

Even though coil in the vicinity is nothing and Gain regulator is 7-8 or larger to the display comes text BAD GROUND REDUCE GAIN

Why ?

Thanks for the information !

Turn your gain down or lift the coil away from the target......

i've brought my gmt to different areas same result maximun gain attenable is only 4, but it can detect a grain nugget at one inch air test. :dontknow: it's a handycup

It can detect a nugget smaller than that in very mineralized ground. It is sensitive for a reason and undoubtedly one of the best nugget shooters on the market today with someone that nugget shoots and know how to use it.
