Today seemed to be foreign coin day...I landed a ton of euros this evening...Today's coinstars finds all in one machine. Three new country coins I did not havebefore very cool actually. A Ghana 2019 coin worth $5.60 in USA MONEY, a Hungarian 5 Forint worth .15 cents in USA MONEY, and a Jamacam $1.00 coin worth .65 cents USA MONEY.
Pretty incredible how silver coins are still floating around out there in circulation. People just must find those old coins somewhere on the ground, throw them in a jar and think nothing of it. Jar gets full, full jar goes to coinstar.
how many coins to go through to find your silver?
I don't count I just check daily and if it's there it's a blessing if it's not it's still a fun day.how many coins to go through to find your silver?
I average 2-4 Silver Dimes ( most 1964 ) & 1 silver quarter , a War Nickel or 2 ( got 8 at 1 time years ago ) & 10-15 Wheats a year from coinstar machines . + 20 + Foreign coinage .I regularly check 8 every day and most days atleast 5-6 will produce coins left behind.
Do you look under the machine too ? I do . I despise the coin machines at Publix Supermarkets , they keep everything / Stingy Things they are . LOLI don't count I just check daily and if it's there it's a blessing if it's not it's still a fun day.
Yes on top under neith, the top cup the tray and counter and the rejection port. And always survey the general area alot of times I find coins that either spit out of the machine or drop out of a bag they bring the coins in..Do you look under the machine too ? I do .
