I think mine is a "Zephyr" one of my first finds, early archaic and delicate. I remember exactly the conditions and where it was found, the wind was gusting 55+ that day, and a member on here told me thats what Zephyr stands for.
Post up on here your most wicked looking piece if you feel free too

Nice Srv,your first post in the thread, are they pine tree's? makes me wonder whats the difference with the "daltons" and the SW pieces...... maybe another topic? They def had the atitude to make their point :D Daltons are early Archaic? right? After Folsom?
I love the Thebes guys, wish someone had a Guadalupe or Snaketown..... that they would like to share ;)

The 3 in the first post I have always considered as Palmers and are personal finds, all found the same day in the same field.

The Daltons are from Oklahoma and Texas and pieces I bought. I believe they are considered Late Paleo/very Early Archaic.

Chong II , your "Zephyr" is wicked from tip to tail for sure !! And there seems to be a bunch of wickedness here ! I'm a bit surprised that nobody has put up a Frily point here ,..I've seen 'em posted [Atlantis?] here before ,...with a bit of serration ,tis' one nasty lit' point !!
Anyway ,..my most wicked point is the one ,.bottom Rt. This is not a personal find ,..but is most personal to me , as it was given to me by a dear O' Friend ,Edith M. . well a long story short ,. Edith was roto-till'n her garden when this point "rolled-out" ..I will quote her here ,."I don't know how in the hell it never got broke,..I've been roto-till'n this garden for years !" ... :tard:,...oh,did I mention she was push'n back 90 when she found it,.. :icon_thumright: made it to 101 !!

DSC02645rs700.jpg
Well ,.. I don't believe it to be from one of are Local San Diego bands ,..due to "type" and lithic's & a bit of history in this lit' canyon where this point was found . I do believe ,.. a nocked arrow with this point ,.. would make for a valid "point" in your argument with the locals,..for sure !
Wicked Thread ,.... Blindpig

Blind Pig, you could throw that little Serrated Triangle Point on any of the Ft Ancient spots I hunt and know one would have a clue it was from California. It is a dead ringer for the serrated types we find here in southern Ohio.

Few more wicked points.

Here is a Hixton Sugar Quartz Clovis from White County Indiana
that was found by my cousin. This one had to have hit a mammoth.
Found while farming black dirt lowlands that was once a marsh or
wetland.
