Whats your least-favorite thing to find?

Ok, now that I have a little experience, I officially change my answer to pieces of aluminum siding. That stuff sounds like a silver dollar!

I might be with you there Old Dude!

Can slaw and other foil that reads from nickel and above.

A dog turd on the end of my coil. Some people never pick up after their dogs. Not all but some.

Can slaw, syringes, AAA batteries, tiny odd metal bits, and anything I think is GOLD that's not!

Tabs, bottle caps, and deep cans and pennies, those blow my ears and get me excited but its money. Use to not mind them but lately that's all I've been finding. The tabs I have to dig because they ring the same level as gold on my md.

Dirty, irregularly shaped bits of melted metal (often zinc/potmetal stuff) that blend in with the dirt are are maddening to locate.

Bottle caps, twists caps, foil, nails and wire. But I throw all that junk in their respective collection centers, so that in 20 years I'll have a massive heap of scrap to cash in to buy myself some new knee caps. Whole pop cans tick me off, but I am wise to them now. Pop and pull tabs are a disappointment but I'd rather find those than foil or rusty bottle caps. I guess I also really hate old broken up zinc Ball jar lids too.

My least favorite thing to find?

Zinc pennies!

I almost always know what they are before I dig and I always have a debate with myself whether to dig them or not. I usually give in and dig them!

Second least favorite would have to be pull tabs.
